Root A fresh CM6 FroYo build for droid

I think I'm sticking with my current ROM till after the holiday.

But come Monday, I have a lot of ROMs to choose from.

Remember after BB 1.0 came out...it was quiet time for awhile. There were very few new ROMs that came out at that time...this is like the exact opposite now! I want to exclusively run 3-4 different ROMs and it's killing me! :D I'm loading up really incredible ROMs setting them all up the way I like, backing up, flashing another incredible ROM...repeat.

Don't get me wrong...I'm happy with the choices...I just can't make a "commitment" to any of them and I find myself staring at Clockwork Recovery more than my homescreen :p

No kidding. Just today we've got a new CM ROM, JRummy's newest Froyo Kangerade and ChevyNo1 released his newest version of Simply Stunning. And it's not as if BB V0.3 and V0.4 are old releases. I'm having trouble deciding which one to stick with for more than a few hours.
 
I don't recognize that screen name on the twitter...any confirmation that this is an "official" test/alpha build from the CM Droid team?

I haven't been on IRC for some time, but the current Apha listed there earlier today is update-cm-6.1.0.0-alpha2-signed.

Chris Soyars retweeted the link. That's a good enough clue to me...

I also have no clue who optedoblivion is but Chris Soyars did retweet this so I think its most likely legit although I am holding out for another alpha from koush

The tweet was retweeted by Chris Soyars, who is part of the CM team.

Well aperently Cyanogen is in some Twitter flame war with some idiot that started an account called cyanogensucks... The guy is pissed because Cyanogen won't answer every single question he asks him... lol..

Anyway I think I'm gonna hold out for Koush's official release... That is unless I change my mind in the next few minutes/hours/days...

Ive actually slowed down a lot. I mostly stick to cyanogenmod roms. I havent flashed any froyo roms other than the leaks. At least I dont think I have.
