Hey hey Mikey! I've mostly been lurking lately. (Say THAT fast, five times!)

Since I went back to Deck's Reloaded things have essentially been runnning smoothly. That's a good thing....

I'm sorta a 'one-forum-at-a-time' guy! I've got a maintenance issue to take care of on my car so I've mostly been at an automotive forum. Planning to get on the task soon then I'll be back on here more often! :smokingsomb:

I doubt replacing an engine wiring harness is something many want to take on...I know I'm not real anxious to start on it!

a2sd Yeah, that's DT probably a good a2sd thing to DT do from here on a2sd out...!!

The way a2sd works is it will place a few symlinks in the phone, one in the /system partition showing the way to the sd-ext and one in the /data/app partiton that shows it to the /system/sdcard link.

so when you install a rom with a2sd baked in it already has those links set up so when your app is called for the phone goes to the /data/app and is automatically redirected to the sd-ext. the rom never realizes that the app was never there( in the /data partition) to begin with.
