Accessories - what have you found?

Found this, same dock as a few post above, but cheaper with more things to come with. (Buy.com has the same set with free shipping)
Amazon.com: ReVIVE UPLINK Data Sync Charging Cradle Dock with truCELL 1500mAh Replacement Battery and Silicone Case for HTC EVO 3D: Electronics

Ordered this, Amzer seems like a brand that makes good case. It was 6 bucks when I order it.
Amazon.com: Amzer Silicone Skin Jelly Case for HTC EVO 3D - Black - 1 Pack - Case: Cell Phones & Accessories

Which screen protector should I get? I heard xoskins one has a great quality, but little more expensive. I want to find something that are not easy to scratch, clean and smooth enough on the surface.

I ordered the cowboom extended battery, when someone else gets theres let me know what case they find that works well with it. I never bothered with a case before but it was different with the Op V was like 150 vs 300.

This charging doc with HDMI out looks great, except for the fact that nearly everyone uses some form of protective case. Seems like they should make the design such that protective cases (and extended batteries) might have a chance to fit.

NEW KiDiGi CHARGER CRADLE HDMI AC USB WALL DOCK FOR SPRINT HTC EVO 3D PHONE | eBay

I have ordered a TPU case from ebay for a "Sprint EVO 3D", with the hope it will fit my "VirginMobile EVO V 4G". I also ordered extended batteries, has anyone confirmed that all the "EVO 3D" stuff works on the VM phone? Are they truely accessory inter-changable?

At this point I really hope so.

Yes, the Evo V is exactly the same hardware as the Evo 3D. All accessories that work with the 3D work with the Evo V.

Thanks, just bought it! I like OEM products since they're much higher quality than a lot of the aftermarket accessories. (I'm looking at you, 89 cent screen covers) :D

You are welcome :) I would like to know does the camera and screen will lift off or not, cause from the pic it looks like at same level.

Yeah 7.93 on amazon is a steal. Don't have the phone either lol. I guess for a few days I'll have to make do with an empty shell

Always good to have accessories ready for the new toy. Probably it will take another week or 2 for me to get the phone but should worth the wait. I am also thinking to get a dock, but want to see if somebody found one that could fit with the oem case on.

I got this case in frost, purple and black:

TPU Rubber Skin Case for HTC Evo 3D, S shape

It looks great, protects the camera lenses, and the reviews are good. And can't beat the price. ;)

i also got this tpu case in purple and black (purple for the wife)
hopefully it protects well enough for us as we are easy on our phones

and what is up with the screen protectors? we have had out optimus v's for a year and a half with no screen protector and no noticeable scratches.... are they at all necessary for people like us? (never had gorrilla glass before but i watched a HTC one x used as a hammer on youtube so i'm thinking we will be ok... )

Is there a case that protects the cameras in the back? Have one I got from best buy but am worried about it not covering the cameras in the back at all. Seems like a bad idea....
The otterbix seems like the safest but it's so bulky.

HAHA. My luck, It's so sad it's comical.

My case makes the phone constantly reboot and the screen protector fell off by itself after 24 hours!

Does Best Buy install screen protectors?
I'm totally not even bothering to install it myself, I do that enough at work for customers.

Best case too? Can't be rubber because for some reason my power button is sensitive and anything pressed on it makes it turn off!

My case right now is a Pt case I got at Best Buy and it does not cover any of the buttons. Best Buy did install the screen protector for me as well (even though they knew I bought the phone at Radio Shack).

Hey BB does installs for $15 in central tx. Also they guarantee the install for 30 days against any issues or they replace it. Definitely worth it. Had them redo the zagg on my flyer like 4 times until it was a flawless install

The screen is gorilla glass. You don't need to buy a protector, and you don't need to pay someone $15 to put it on.

$15 to install a screen protector?

I should actually say that it was worth it when the zagg cover was discounted to technically make the install free. Also my current devices aren't gorilla glass so they need the covers. Now the evo v shouldn't need one. Gorilla glass is tough and by the time anything major shows up it's time to replace the device.

I had my MT for 8 months and didn't have one scratch despite multiple drops and rubbing against machinery at my job. It finally succumbed to a dish of all things that fell on it and cracked the screen. VM sent me a brand new MT lol
