First Post long time lurker.....I love the ADW as for other posts in the thread.....my battery also skyrocketed.......not a single crash.......and beautiful widget is great for the money.

But can some one find me a slide style lockscreen that doesn't suck like autolock....i hate having to unlock my phone everytime i place a call and go to hang up........Thanks

Lockbot Pro is good but I don't quite understand if that is what you are looking for.

I'm a new convert to ADW. I switched from tag home once I figured out how to flip up the dock bar and add six more apps. I think I'm sticking with this launcher.

Where's the download link for easyswitcher?

Update for ADW is sick... added option for two more Action Buttons... LauncherPro... lookout.

Also... if you guys notice... if you try to add more than six items to the dock bar... it says "sorry, 6 items max... atm :)"

I suggested to the Dev that they add the extra two AB's (which I am sure I am not the only one). I also suggested that they add an option to doublestack the dock bar so you can have twelve apps in there and that they give the option to move the dockbar to the top of the screen for those of us who hide our notification bar. I wanna see what they come up with next!

Just noticed ANOTHER addition to the ADW.Launcher. If you simply drag and drop an icon on the trashcan it will remove it from the screen... but if you hold it over the trashcan for a second it will change to "Drop to uninstall". SICK!

ADW is BEAST.

Again...

This thing keeps getting better and better... also the option to backup AND restore your ADW settings... and your desktop configuration. No more fighting with getting your phone back should you have to factory reset.

i can't remember which home replacement had this ... maybe home++ but it was where the dock would scroll to the left so you could have more things in it ... that would be sweeet!

Is it me

I thought to change the action buttons, you press and hold and your options come up. This is not working since the update, or am I just doing something wrong? :o

You're thinking of Launcherpro. For ADW, you just drag your shortcut into the actions button spot.

That is pretty cool. I hope I don't accidentally uninstall something... I tend to move things down there when I'm re-decorating... so to speak.

Now, if it would only work with CityID.

It still prompts you to uninstall via the applications panel though. You have to hit uninstall at the bottom of the screen and everything. Just a quick way to dump apps...

Just tried this out as my first home replacement. Generally I am very happy with it aside from the lack of a comparable contacts widget. But the real beef I have with it is that it seems a bit laggy switching swiping from screen to screen on the home screen. I followed the OP's suggested settings and it still seems slow, but most things are much laggier than SenseUI for me. Any thoughts on why mine could be slower?

This last update has been a slow one so just be patient, I contacted the dev and he realized what was wrong and in the next update the speed will be fixed :)

I felt the same way when i first switched to it, but then i realized that if you go to add a shortcut, you can go down to person. and then select a person and i chose quick contact after that and i like it even better set up like that. You can still fit 4x4 contacts on a homescreen and then when you press on them it brings up the little slide out menu below with the option to call, bring up their contact card, txt, email or facebook

Yup what I do is have a folder with all my contacts and when I want to get to one i click on the folder, all my contacts pop up and I scroll through them

I just downloaded ADW after downloading Launcher Pro last week.
Still up in the air about which one to stick with.
