That keeps getting repeated in this thread, but this is the only app I've encountered that's actually having problems ...

There are a bunch or popular apps experiencing it, and yes people need to read through the thread because it has been repeated TOO MANY TIMES

ADW Launcher has a new update, now choose your background color in your app drawer. It just keeps getting better.:D

Yeah, this update is really slick. I'm back on the ADW bandwagon again. :p ADW and LP really are neck & neck in this race...competition is great for advancement!

Anybody have this glitch? It caused me to go back to Sense. Sometimes when I hit the home soft key if the phone is executing a program or something, then ADW will freeze up for a minute and then go home. The problem is that all of my widgets and programs are invisible. If I touch where they are supposed to be, then the app opens, but I cannot see them. All screens just show the wallpaper. Turning the phone off ant then back on fixes it, but it was happening 2-3 times per day.

I've heard some people say this but I've never experienced it, what widgets do you have running?

New Update = Badass

Are you getting update prompts? Because I downloaded it from the developer's site, I wonder if I won't receive update notifications.

And BTW - I really like ADW! The smoothness is great, and I do see quite a difference in speed. So I'm now a convert.:)

But I'm having problems customizing. Specifically - I can't figure out how to make changes to the dock. I'd like to change its appearance and also have more than 2 widgets (+ shortcut to app drawer).

I also downloaded the weather/clock widget and skins - this is a blast to play with!

Yup, updates are coming through for me. And you can't have more than two shortcuts in the dock.

I need a few widget replacements to make this worth switching to (preferably free)

1.) Clock weather widget with animations? I have fancy widget and that's fine without the animations, but it would just be nice to actually have the animations.

2.) Calendar widget? I like the pure grid calendar, but it costs money and me being my cheap self I would like to know if anyone has a calendar widget that takes up the whole screen, like the Sense one.

3.) Music widget? I love the HTC Music widget, it would be good if I could get something similar or the same if that's even possible.

4.) Individual photo widgets? Like the HTC ones, the Android one would be fine, but it cuts off the picture to a square and then cuts off the pictures sides. I could probably resize the picture but if there's a widget that works something like the HTC one it would be better.

5.) Individual power switches for the different radios? Like 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS are the ones I am looking for.

Wow, that's a lot of widgets lol. Remember I'm being cheap and want free widgets if there are any. I know beautiful widgets has a lot... if any of those are in there, let me know please? I know I want free but I REALLY REALLY like ADW. So if I have to pay I must I guess...

I love the clock/weather widget I got with "Weather and Toggle Widget" - it's not free, but only about $2, and there are tons of customizations. It looks identical to the Sense widget, and does have animation.

2.) Calendar widget? I like the pure grid calendar, but it costs money and me being my cheap self I would like to know if anyone has a calendar widget that takes up the whole screen, like the Sense one.

Several calendar widgets come in multiple sizes. I use Jorte, and you can specify what size and type widget you want. It's free.

Did you try "Frame"? Some of the photo editing programs might also offer this type of widget, but I haven't checked them out.

It has animations? Haven't seen it/them?

Thanks, I'll look into these. But what about the power switches and music widgets? Anyone got any good ones for those?

One more question, and it's just cause I can't find the setting: My Jorte calendar displays the day of the week as the first day of the week (Thursday is where I want Sunday to be if you didn't understand). Any way to fix that?

Yeah, I may end up using the stock power widget, but the music widget is... too small I guess? I just like the Sense music widget.
