To be fair to kara, he did want to do it under the guise of a storm... but I loled anyways.
 
[Hide]you guys can try to talk a ship but a TPK is likely if you do engage I figured I would let you know up front. I don't like TPK but you aren't invincible [/spoiler]

Yeah, I vote against doing anything to those ships. I did in the first place and still do. I wouldn't mind some combat though. ;)
 
it has rained thru the night and mimzy has apparently disappeared its now dawn and still raining getting worse and your radar goes off a ship is on the horizon

Is the weather just rain, or are we heading into a storm? My character may be a crack shot, but I am not going to try a shot in 30 foot waves.

I have a training all day tomorrow (8AM-3PMish EST) so if we get in combat or something I will join in when I get home from work.
 
Its just rain not a storm. This ship is not the Same as the others

none of the ships have had sails nobody has asked about that but they are all motor driven boats don't worry these pirates aren't that bright your astral projection is still in effect when you see this

The pirates about 15 total. Bring on their deck 2 large mobile battlefield cannons. They aim them at your ship and fire. They did not secure the cannons prior to firing so as the cannonballs are fired towards your ship the cannons are shot backwards each with a pirate behind it and breaks thru the side of their ship and into the ocean. 13 pirates remain most looking dumbfounded at the new doors made in their deck and loss of 2 comrades
 
One cannon ball strikes the control deck wall making a hole but not damaging any of the instruments. The other misses the ship completely.

T'res summons forth a huge violent wind the rain is now moving horizontally! The wind looks like it went in the opposite direction than he had planned however...
You rolled a 1 and yes you can attack their ship you had a good chance of sinking it had you hit;)

I fling my arms outward and lighting launches from my fingertips?

I am going to combine those last two attacks for this because it looks cooler this way

Suddenly with the rain T'res and Smith both cast spells at the pirates they have changed the rain into a deadly thunderstorm and as you watch the pirate boat is is chaos when you see the hull start to fail. As lightning strikes around the sinking ship a large wave comes up and you see no remnants of the ship or it's crew.

Mimzy boards the ship again (he was still missing ;)) this time dragging a lifeless crew member of the boat you just sunk. Mimzy looks hungry...
