That's funny. I would have done the same.
Well the problem I see with the re-engineered rom is that the 'dev' of that ROM doesn't know the ROM inside and out like JRummy and Kejar know Liberty. And kejar and JR don't know re-engineered and what the 'dev' did differently. So any issues that arrise may be hard to troubleshoot.
I crack myself up, but it's true.

Haha steven, I wouldnt know I wasn't going to flash at all. Not even to try it lol

That's not the only problem with the rom. The other problems with the rom are that the rom has serious problems.I crack myself up, but it's true.

I guess I didn't stay on it long enough to experience the problems![]()
you know steven after hearing about you talking about swype i decided to give it a try, and i like it alot ^_^ so much easier txting with my 1 thumb than my 2 thumbsThere were significant keyboard issues (swype) and fc's in settings, etc. (but the thing was fast fer shur)

Honestly, I think JRummy and a lot of the Android community have been acting in ways that go against the entire Android philosophy. It's about being open. It's about having the ability to take system files and edit them however you want. People are starting to act like it's a business world here. It really shouldn't be about keeping things from other people. Everyone should be sharing. The best ROMs will be the ones that take the best pieces from each ROM and combine them.
Just my two cents.
There should be a like button in the forums. lolit is open from google. but when a developer takes that open source and puts a lot of time into it they become very proud of their work and it becomes their baby. They want to be the ones to improve on it and when another developer takes their work and spins it, they may or may not do a good job. its kinda like burger king taking a mcdonalds hamburger, putting their toppings on it and rebranding it.
Jrummy took a lot of time making the app to run with liberty and if other roms use it they may have bad experiences with it, which is not the developers fault. so closing it to his project rom makes sense to me.
Yeah... I just think all the drama over at XDA was uncalled for, and that developer did not deserve to be bombarded and insulted like he was.
whats going on?
