Root [ALPHA] ICS for Optimus M (NOW COMPILED AND BOOTING)

heh... just goofed... was having an issue with my java.. manually updated.. wanted to rebuild my python.. figured id remove it and install clean.. but failed to specify... and just removed python.. and im sitting here watching terminal.. removing just about everything in the system..... uggh FML
 
Actual Mac. ADT will not show up in eclipse. Any version of it. It says they are downloaded but they just aren't there haha.

Another quick question...seeing how I couldnt get eclipse right I was going to set up an Ubuntu platform but is that a waste without a x64 ? For ics at least.?

I think x32 should work to build ICS if using 12.04......not entirely sure though, I haven't messed with building with Ubuntu since I wiped my computer......HDD failing on laptop...-__-
 
yeah ghost is correct, 10.04, even 11.10 x86 will build ICS, first build i did was using 11.10 x86.. took quite a bit of work arounds, but it did build a booting rom
 
I'm just taking a guess here, but would it be possible to take touch screen drivers from the Optimus V build of ICS to the the Optimus M build. I'm just guessing here to sorry if this sounds weird. XD

Different touchscreen drivers. Otherwise this would have been done a lllllooooooonnnnnnnggggggg time ago ;)
 
id love to try to get more done with it, however all my original build data is gone, and i currently have crappy borrowed internet service, maybe once i get my internet situation solved i will dedicate a box to android again, got a nice AMD quad core i can build it with. just gonna be some time, and i also offered my phone up for grabs when im done using it for a remote.. lol

Hey, I know this is super late buuuut... Can someone reupload this ROM? The dropbox links are dead. Does anyone still have a copy?
