Just wondering if anyone could tell me what exactly I have to do to check this out, or if it's even worth flashing at this point..I'm still new to all of this, and was wondering if this is something that is being recommended right now...

i agree with mclabia... while its working fantastically, some are experiecing hanging at the splash screen when booting into it,wich is an inconvenience more than anything. it seems reliable so far,if something happens,it may cause some pretty serious fustrations to a new rooter that isnt sure what to do.
it would prolly be a lil better to wait until its been out for a bit.
that said,if you are curious and want to try it,its installed in hboot just like your radios. i would recomend keeping a renamed or hidden PG05IMG for clockwork on your phones sd card, just in case.![]()
keep me posted if either one of you guys can remember, that way I don't forget about it, if it turns out to be that great, I would love to eventually get a hold of itI think all you need to do is flash clockworkMod recovery from within Rom Manager and you have the old one back.....some are experiecing hanging at the splash screen when booting into it,.....

Didn't think about that. But I do have confidence that this will work just fine. Some great devs behind it.Dammit! Just turend my PC off, lol. Hafta flash it when I get home this evening. The changes sound awesome.
Rom manager is fine to flash cwm if you can get to it. An extreme worse case scenario(bootloop and crashed recovery) you may have to flash a recover thru hboot or fastboot. I keep twrp and cwm on the SD just in case![]()
Bj, I will get you a link later this evening if no one posts it. Or search here for "hboot flashable recovery". I was using 4.0.0.5 but 3.1.0.2 is prolly safer/ better for an emergency backup.
The only issue I see here is that you would need to rename them and place them in the root anyway so I might as well just leave them on my computer, pop out my sdcard and put it on that way.
i keep mine on the sd cause im away from home alot. wether im at work,my parents house,or even at frickers with friends someone will either have a card reader,or another smartphone i can pop my card into and change the name of one of my files
my luck is such that if i have the files on my sd,ill be at home. if i font, ill be somewhere else, lol
