I was in the process of updating to GB. already sbfd to stock froyo. was running part1 of the GB update and my phone died. When phone is plugged into charger now, green light will flash, M will come up, then screen goes black and every couple seconds, M will come up, then black. Im able to get into bootloader but it says no enough charge. Phones on the charger now, steady green but it still says not charged.

Help?

Same thing happened to me the other day. Take your battery into verizon and have them charge it. Then you can sbf back to get your phone working again.hope you succeed

i am able to get into recovery mode (power+home)

im thnking, should i just leave it there while its chargining?

what happened with me.

Phone died right in the middle of SBF'ing (10% battery life) Kept getting "Code Corrupt, Battery Low, Cannot Program" and the M would flash for about a second before shutting off.

Took my phone to Verizon, Had them charge it to 90%,

Hooked up to my computer, started the SBF again, and everything went through fine and my phone is back to normal.

Not sure if those are the problems you are getting, but hopefully that helps.

If you get a couple of dim bulbs at Verizon that unable to help you, then I'd suggest getting an external battery charger. At one of the stores near me they had never even heard of such a "mythical" item, but I got home and ordered it online. The phone's totally salvageable.

they didnt have an external, said they couldnt charge without the phone, so i just bought a new batt for 30 and thats all the problem was. was thinking of just getting phone back up and returning it but i might just keep it as a back up in case of anything or i forget a charger when im out.

i need my phone on since im USAF.

I guess this issue will never go away; people will always try to sbf without enough juice in the battery :p

and pc's that can get the job done in record time!

Eh...i dont think the computer is that much of an issue...I've SBF'ed using my old Dell with a 2.2ghz P4 and 768mb of RAM and usually don't even have my battery drop 10% during the process...never more than 10%...
