Guys, quick question..is my SD card partitioned with a2sd working correctly..quick system info shows:

SD card storage:
total: 6.41, free:5.4

a2sd storage: (is that enough space for apps?)
total: 0.89, free 711 mb

internal storage:
total: 426mb, free: 274 mb

system storage:
total:350mb, free:48mb

system cache:
total: 160mb, free 99mb

Also, my phone came with an 8GB class 4 card. will this type of card work with a partition and a2sd? (i am looking to upgrade my sd soon) but will a class 4 work with a partition?

also, I dont yet have too many apps..

first you should have plenty of room for apps with what you have.

second your card will work just fine. I have a 16gig class 4. However I'm not using memory/graffic/cpu intensive applications. If your a big gamer you will want to upgrade the card and partition. However if your not and you do just the normal chats, internet, file viewing/creating you should be fine.

Thanks guys..well, I am myselfs worse enemy..because I decided to re-partition my sd card..my mind was just not wrapped around it being done correctly (used clockwork mod...didnt think it went through all the steps, an on amon now)..re partitioned, got everything back on SD...booted phone..no lock screen!! phone was syncing, just no way for me to unlock it. Long story short, I had a reason to try mikg3.1 since I had to wipe anyway!!!!

-for future reference, when doing an sd card partition (for a NEW card..going to order that class 10), will I need to wipe my phone again..or will it be as easy as copying old sd card to computer, partition new one...transfer files?

no need to wipe the phone again. mikg3.1 automatically does the a2sd thing. you just need to hae the card partitioned. it does help it if you wipe and re-flash the rom, but that is not necessary though.

thanks, was just worried I would run into the same issue I had last night. After copying data back to partioned sd card, phone wouldnt open the lock screen.

maybe clockwork did have me partitioned wrong then, since everything didnt transfer back correct?

hmmm that is possible. but it could just be a glitch that wiping dalvik cache and cache might fix.
