Not sure I would pay $4.99 for it when Jorte is out there for free, but this is a very good alternative to the stock calendar app.
 
amazon app store is "selling" the "business calendar" app for free today. it is normally a $4.99 app. i have only played with it for a few minutes, but it seems very smooth and customizable.

just thought i'd pass along the information.
 
I too downloaded the app and find it much better than the stock application. If you use your calendar a lot, this is a great app.
 
Tried it (Business Calendar), I like it. Better display and details than the native app. Two glitches: one is that it put a ten minuted reminder alarm on all the events that were previously on my Google Calendar, set with no notification. No way (that I could find) to delete all notifications, so I had to go in to each event via Business Calendar and delete the notification (or change the setting to 'none'). Second glitch is that a previously entered event listed as all day, which I changed on my online Google calendar to specific hours, would not change on BC. Tried every which way to change it, no dice. So I deleted the event and re-entered it. Then it was fine. The bottom line is that it may do funny things with events already in Google's Calendar, but anything added after installing BC should be o.k.

I just got prompted for an update for the amazon app. I wish they would tell us what is new for app store app. It overrides the previous version but what is different??

It's funny - you can see the release notes inside the app itself, but I can't find them anywhere else.

It lists a bunch of "fixes" as well as "overall stability performance" and the added ability to define a pen name for customer reviews.
 
I feel like the Amazon App Store is giving away everything I've already bought, for free. lol. I'm a bit sad, but at least everyone else gets a chance to experience it.
 
Is there a way to remove an app from the my apps part of the amazon app store. It decided to claim i purchased an app and placed it in my list for some reason.
 
I tried this to see how my son would like it. So far the only thing is you can't turn off the music. I hate apps that force that on you.:(
 
So i 'purchased' airport mania and my daughter really got into it. Then it told her she couldn't play anymore levels till she purchased the full version?!?!? I checked and it says 'airport mania free' is the name..... could of sworn that was a paid app for free when i got it... this happen to anyone else?

To my knowledge, only flight control has been the free app of the day.

Only thing I can think of is if you searched the amazon store for "airport mania" and click on the wrong one. They both may have been free, but you may have downloaded the "lite" version by mistake, and missed the paid app for free.

If you look at the first post in this thread I update it daily with the free app of the day. The full version of airport mania has not been offered as a daily free app for the paid version
