If you're rooted, Gemini app manager is a good way to keep the amazon appstore in check. It can turn off the appstore's autorun ability so it won't run unless you want it to.

Dude, that Gemini app manager is more annoying then the amazon apps, constantly popping up in the status bar trying to get me to "use" it aka load their add image for a hit.

The first 2 chapters were free and each chapter has 16 mini-boards/stages. I got 5 stars each on almost all and then reworked (rip and reroute) the rest of them to 5 stars each. It's easy since i sometimes do PCBs and can visually ratnest it before starting. Then on the 3rd chapter they made me hand over $1.99 to upgrade..
(But yeah, pay-to-play is a non-starter for me.)
