Root Amon RA Advice

I'm totally new to Amon RA and I'm making my first backup with this recovery. What partitions do I need to back up?

Since this is your first back up, I would back up everything including your wimax keys. If you are partitioned, back that up too.

Always Keep the first three checked, check WiMAX, and always sdext if you are partitioned.

correct. no need to keep backing wimax up as it take a lot of space. just make one and have it kept safe somewhere like on your computer and even on the cloud (i have mine stored in dropbox).

I always backed up WiMAX on my evo. I usually only kept 1 or 2 nands on the card so the extra space wasnt as important as knowing I had it there if needed.

I haven't had a wimax backup in months. My area does not have 4G and it will not get it now. We are I guess going to get LTE which I know is 4G but it wouldn't do me any good with this phone anyway's. I generally only keep at the max 3 nandroids on the phone and 3 on the computer. Most of them just get deleted besides my comfort level in Putting on a ROM and resetting things up is like second nature to me now. I don't get upset with what little I may loose as I have 98% of my stuff backed up to the computer and in the cloud. So the 2% left to loose sux but its not the end of the world.
