Damn. Thanks for that B2L. Know this is a little off topic, but the voodoo app says you don't need to root - could you or anyone point me to a simple instruction on how to flash a custom kernel that would allow me to use voodoo app without rooting? I'd probably do it over Christmas so, I'm assuming, I'll have updated to the ICS OTA. Thanks for any help!

You can use some features of Voodoo Control without rooting. Although, in order to flash a custom kernel, you must be rooted, and have a custom recovery. So you won't be able to change the screen temperature without rooting. You can always use a rooted stock rom, and flash a custom kernel to keep it pretty much stock.
