Help Android Newbie

Hi, First of all i'm totally new to this forum, forgive me for anything i'm doing inappropriately. Anyway i would like to ask; so i have a galaxy nexus and i wanna do a memory dump of its entire RAM (it's part of my project). I'm aware of LiME but i'm stuck at extracting the kernel config file part. My /proc/config.gz does not exist, so is there another way to go about doing it? Any help/hint would be greatly appreciated, thank you :D

curious again as to what you are trying to do....you said project. like a school project?

never really heard of a complete ram "dump" on an android device. is the phone rooted?

Hi, ocnbrze, thanks for your reply!

Nah, this is actually an industrial project for android forensic investigators. Hmm, put it this way, if you're a familiar, it's like doing a live acquisition of a Windows Machine using windd, but in this case i wanna do a live acquisition of an Android Device :)

Yes indeed, the phone is rooted :)
