I believe I used to do something like this with Dolphin Browser, and it still directed me to mobile Youtube website. It is interesting if the above two browsers can go to full Youtube site.

As I no longer have any Android TV box in hand now (awaiting my new Amlogic box, after trying Telechip and Rockchip ones), I can't try them.

I'll tell you asap: the remote control of my FV-1 had a broken key. I went to the shop to have it replaced but the box was out of stock, so I got my money back.

I was looking for a new one to buy on the net and I found that one.

At the moment the product is no more availabe,the vendor has sold 200 boxes in 3 days!!

I followed the link on my PC but the APP is not compatible with my box.
I get this message....

Anything I can do about this :confused:
 
Yes same problem.
part of android market is blocked from the Android Box Name "Mesada android tv".

i'have try Market enabler, market unlocker. but no way

anyone have a solution to simulate another android box name to let dispose of ALL ANDROID MARKET APPS?
 
Need realy a 2.3 android rom for flexiview FV-1.
Or Ice cream Sandwich no problem for this wonderful 1ghz box

Sure the box can rock it easily
 
Hi... my FV-1 seems to detect my wireless home network very weakly...it only shows 1 bar as compared to my other wireless devices. Is there any way i can configure it to boost the wireless strength? My box is rooted...and is updated with the Oct firmware. Thks

Have you performed the "Get more apps in the FV-1 Market" trick, that I detailed in the last few pages of this thread?

I was able to find and download the ice stream app in the Market with no problems at all. It works great (but my internet connection is bad here, and I can't stream very well - That's another story! . The video downloads work fine)...

Firstly install wifi manager .Next in its option change to percentage display

After that move your fv 1 unit towards left and right refresh the signal. And keep the unit where you get the highest signal.

I followed your instruction in #641 but a search of Market does not show Ice Stream. When I search the Market on my PC Ice Stream is shown but it is not compatible with my device.
So no change :(

Can you confirm that my box has the latest firmware?

Install manually ice stream friend .Dont worry about the market

I have read somewhere in the thread that Samsung 1Ghz processor is better than Rockchip 1.2 Ghz.

What does "better" mean?

The differences between the two processors are important?

Is it true that the boxes with Android 2.3 and Rockchip support skype videochat?

In other words, if one can choose, what box is better to buy?

I received my new toy last night and totally peaking with this thing...its wicked.

One question. Has anyone tried REMOTEDROID on this? It basically allows you to use an android phone as a keyboard/track pad.
It says the server (Flexiview) needs to be junning Java SE. Its here where i get a little lost.

If anyone knows if i need to install Java on the felxiview, and if REMOTEDROID works, id be most appreciative.

No, as RemoteDroid is for controlling a computer (Windows, Linux...) with an Android device, not for controlling one Android device with another Android device. I've been looking for a way to control the FV-1 with my Android phone, but have not found any solutions. Shouldn't be too hard to write such an app tho...
 
Actually guys it is not Flexiview anymore, who produce FV-1 (if produce it anymore), but Mesada (????) The english site is not working, but i could find it in the chinese version, and sent them a mail if they are planning to release new firmware.

Mmmmhh...I think that it has not been a good idea.

The feedback of the vendor I gave my money to for my box has dropped suddenly, he's got more than 10 negative feedbacks in the last couple of days.

I am afraid that he has decided to stop his carieer as honest vendor and I wouldn't be surprised if he were the same person of the auction you mention.
Same style, registered in the same period from china, I know that chinese are 1 billion and a half but....

Its very easy same as windows.Just copy the file in a usb ,plug in to the box and click it it will lnstall.

But make sure before installing make sure you checkmark unknown source in setttings -> applications.

I hope you understand.
