No, not a visual theme, MUSIC! I had been joking with Andy about how he swoops in like some kind of super hero, all he was lacking was the theme music. Originally I was going to write something, record it and upload. Then my son was born and cured my insomnia.:o So...I figured some Mendelssohn would fit the bill nicely. I've taken Mendelssohn's 4th (First Movement) (F. Mendelssohn, arr. Tom Parker) circa 1972, and turned it into a ringtone and notification sound.

This is a little thank you to a man who, while I have never required his help, has always been willing to sacrifice his own time to help people he will never meet in person. That takes a special kind of person, and I know very few of them are out there. This is just a little gesture of appreciation for everything you do for so many random strangers. :D

Couldn't sleep. Came to forum to see if I could help out.
What's this I see,.......rub the sleep........blink repetedly. brotherswing your to much.
It's now set as my notification ringtone. When ever someone is in destress,or needs a helping hand,all they have to do is shoot me a pm and the theme music will play.

P.S. I'm just emulating my mentor and true superhero..........The Shell Answer Man. Who,you ask, might that be.......none other than our own mild manered ROM dev................

I'm just occupying his shadow, trying to fill a pair of shoe's that will never fit.

Maybe he would be better deserving of a special hero's ringtone. Now that would be quite the undertaking. What kind of a theme would be befiting the most tireless and giving superhero,the like's of which will may never be seen again.
I could't even begin to fathom that.

I hope you have another place to host that for when the feds take down Mediafire, tho. :mad:
 
Yeah there both awesome! I don't think they'll shut media fire they are very good about removing stuff where mu didn't remove anything. That is unless sopa passes. :eek:
 
Well I am a musician. I've got one up my sleeve for Jerry too. If mediafire does get shut down, I have some web space from my ISP I can use.
 
Well, this makes two, eight years apart.
Truth in advertising : Hope is my step daughter, her mom and I got together when she was four. She calls me by my name, but tells her friends I'm her daddy. So even though I've been playing dad for a few years, this is my first time with a new born.
