Root Annoying padlock appears for incoming calls

homophone

Newbie
I have an HTC EVO with MikG ROM running.

In the last couple days whenever I get an incoming call, the screen has a padlock on it.

I have to press the padlock and then answer the call. This just started happening.

I cannot see who is calling and it adds an extra step to answer the call.

It. is. really. f-ing. annoying.

I've spend hours scouring the settings. I've uninstalled a few recent apps.

I cannot get this stupid padlock to go away.

Does anyone have any idea what this may be?

I'd post a pic but as a new user I cannot.

Thanks for any help with this problem!

welcome to the forums!!!!!!!
that is odd. have you tried wiping dalvik cache and cache? see if that helps. if it does not help, then try wiping dalvik cache and cache again and re-flash mikg. hopefully that will take care of that issue.

Thanks for your reply. Something got hosed up with my phone. I installed a newer version of MikG (3.0) and restored all my apps and still had the problem.

Then I did a manual clear of davlik and cache, three times for good measure. Reinstalled the ROM fresh and the problem did not resurface.

Thanks for the help.

generally if you wipe dalvic and cache and the problem doesnt go away then its in data. Not sure what it was never heard of this one before. It is very interesting issue.
