another incredible commercial

i was watching tv and a android commercial came on talking about a 1ghz processor so i turned around and saw the the incredible rising out of a black and red box. It was actually pretty sweet:cool:

Yup, saw it too. Glad they finally show the phone so people don't mistaken mines for the MotoDroid every time I tell someone I have a Droid Incredible.

Haha pretty sweet. I agree the timing is awkward since you're telling millions of people watching to go get one when there are none to be had, but they (VZW) have no choice on that since media buys are done weeks or months in advance. They'll just have to keep stacking up the pre-orders and hope that creates even more buzz.

I just wish that Verizon would make some commercials for Droid in general a little more unisex to try to gain more female base. It makes Droid seem just suited for tech guys. Women love cute things, Verizon should make a cute commercial. :)

Haha why do I care about these?! I already bought the phone. Gotta love these commercials though. Even my most skeptical friends are admitting it's a pretty sweet phone, and these commercials are a little icing on the cake.

That was a sick commercial. maybe this is Verizons way of saying that more will be in stock soon! one can only hope.

i saw it for the first time last evening also; during prime time on FOX. Very slick commercial, glad to see the actual phone this time!!!

I heard one of the commercials for the incredible on the radio a few weeks ago. They used an interesting approach, not mentioning actual numbers but replacing "1ghz snapdragon processor" with something like "blazing fast new processor" and such. I remember when droid commercials came out they were all about numbers ... looks like they are catering more to the "average joe" who would rather hear "SUPER DUPER FAST" vs "1ghz processor"

Thinking back to how they marketed this phone before it was released (namely by NOT marketing it) there may be a correlation with the commercial dropping while the phone is out of stock.

They did an extremely good job of making this phone "viral". They had people all over the internet fighting to learn about their phone without even acknowledging it existed. Now that enough of a portion of the market has their hands on the phone to create a buzz, they are creating a likewise demand by hyping it and having it somewhat unavailable. The elusiveness makes it more appealing, and more people will demand this device.

IF this is what Verizon is doing, it is genius.

My friend that rides a bike thinks my cobalt is Super Duper Fast. I drive a cobalt and think my friend's Nissan GT-R is Super Duper Fast..

But not putting numbers, everything is made relative..

Well all i know is that my droid incredible IS super duper fast. I double dog dare ya to come up with something better!
