Root Another return to stock thread

Okay, sounds good! I can't remember...do I rename the radio PC36IMG to flash it with bootloader or just leave it as is and flash it with AMON like when I flash a ROM?
Depends on which one you downloaded - there's a recovery flashable version and a bootloader flashable.

Through AMON...correct?

yes through your recovery. pay attention to the script as it can be kind of decieving when it is done flashing.

and whatever you do make sure that you have a nandroid backup that has wimax backed up. (it is one of the few times where you could loose your wimax keys which means no 4g. and you can't get them back unless you have a nandroid backup).

also whatever you do, DO NOT PULL THE BATTERY OUT. that is a sure way of bricking your phone.

Okay, here goes nothing!

good luck:D

Thanks...just flashed the radio and rebooting now. It was strange because when it said to reboot to complete the installation it went back to AMON and is now saying: Formatting CACHE... I have never seen that before.

Okay so after rebooting and getting back to AMON and getting the message Formatting CACHE I also had the option to reboot, so I did reboot and the phone started normally...I checked the radio version and it is the one I flashed. So that step seems to have worked correctly now on to the S-ON tool step.

I know you guys have told me over and over again...but it makes me nervous that I now have the radio 2.15.00.11.19 and I am about to run this (RUU_SuperSonic_GB_Sprint_WWE_4.54.651.1_Radio_2.15 .00.0808_NV_2.15_release_220182_signed) RUU. I don't remember where I read it, but I thought the RUU had to match your current radio.

ruu stands for rom upgrade utility. as long as the ruu has the same radios or one of the newer ones, then you will be fine. it will not work on older radios. but the same as or newer will.

Okay...so as long as the 2.15.00.11.19 and 2.15.00.0808 have the same beginning numbers it will work? Does the 11.19 & 0808 part of the radio not matter?

it matters, but i just associate the numbers with what ota they belong to. easier that way for me.

Ahh okay, so even though 2.15.00.0808 is a lower number sequence than 2.15.00.11.19...it is still a newer radio version?

Okie dokie...here we go with the RUU!

Edit:
BTW...here is the S-OFF log file if anyone is interested.
