So I just ordered the LTE through Amazon...got it for $549.99 out the door with free shipping. That was the cheapest I have seen it around the web. I was able to have enough left over for a new case and offset micro USB charger so I don't have to worry about that new side charge port on the LTE.
Does anyone know if I will have to an pay a activation fee for changing over to the new phone from my old EVO?

I'm not sure if you will. When my first evo went into the death boot, I bought a used evo from a friend and I do not believe I was charged an activation fee but what's another $36
