Any Gun owners out there?

I am concerned that I can't work with the Appendix carry anyway, I am overweight at 275# and should be 206#, but that was 40 years ago... :(

right now, if I bend over to tie the laces on my m/c riding boots, I can't reach them, I have find a stool/step and raise my foot up.... the tummy tuck gets in the way...

Speaking of gimmicks, this is interesting in a kind of weirdo way, a spinning handle to fit your AR-style rifle trigger. It's an impressive rate of fire, though hardly useful in the real world. The super slo-mo at the end is in some ways the best part. I do like ol' Jerry, he does know his stuff.

LOL, redneck tommy gun. :D

Can't let this thread slip to page 2.

I ordered some Hornady 55 grain soft points in .223 today. Figured I should be able to defend my castle quite well against two legged threats.

I have been giving consideration to laser lights instead of sights.
I have 20/20 vision "out there" but can't see the damn gun sights at all anymore.

Thoughts on that?

I have a laser light on my EDC. I don't have it on all that often but have noticed it increases my accuracy at the range. It's a great tool in my opinion.

On my AR? just normal MBUS flip-up iron sights which came with it.

I had a laser mounted to my Ruger LC9S, but decided it was useless.

Oh, we are talking ARs. I have a green/red dot system on my AR. I'm not impressed with it. If I was buying again I'd go with a 3x scope or so or invest in some quality iron sights.

Would you mind explaining this? Does it have anything to do with the fact that 25 feet is probably the max range it likely will be used at?

On the AR? or the Ruger?

The AR is still on iron sights because I haven't started shooting at ranges where you would want an optic.

I ditched the laser because I primarily shoot outdoors and the laser would never show up on my target, so I couldn't even sight it in.

I was think of the LC9S as that is the post that you were talking about, should have copied the full context.

I was wondering if the laser sight is visible in daylight? for tartget practice.
I also would probably never, ever, pull it unless in threat of my life.... and if that happens, the distance from me to the thread is likely to be less than 25 feet... in that instance, I think muscle memory is going to be all I worry about for pointing the pistol.

Absolutely invisible for me in daylight, and it's a green laser, which they said is supposed to be real easy to see.

I agree about the muscle memory thing.

if it is a Green laser, fud ged a boot it, for me, I am pastel color blind.

I can see Bright RED, but not green.
