I am running Decks Gingerbread with SavagedZen 2.2.1 CFS+HAVS. I have the system (No SetCPU) to underclock at 768 with Interactive X govenor. I used the SavageZen one bt experienced wake locks. When the phone is sleep the battery is great. Once I start using it starts to die fast. Any tips on how to get longer life? I keep location on and the screen brightness all the way down.

maybe try a different kernel. how long have you been on the current kernel? have you tried tiamat yet?

Im running decks and tiamat 4.10 sbc and I get days out of my phone unless im running nav for 18 hours, then its only about 26 hours
I have wifi on always screen on auto sync off bluetooth off unless needed as well as gps.
The day I had nav on 18 hours I had bluetooth and gps on the entire time too.
this is one of the evos but this one is rarely active just a few games and some wifi googling.
This is by far a more realistic one this one is my daily use phone calls texts the entire thing.

Ok I'm going to go out on a limb and assuming you have an extended battery.

Turn off auto brightness and enable screen on animations and that should help with the screen turning on

I have 2 evo's
I bought off ebay I bid low on 2 of them hoping to get at least one, I got lucky and got both.
These are both stock 1500 batterys.
I have wifi on bluetooth off unless needed same with gps sync is always off, brightness is set to auto.
before I got the battery life out of these I had to do 3 or 4 fully drain fully charge using the 4.10 sbc kernel

Well if you can get a day out of the active one, you use it way less than I use mine.

I use it light to moderately.
6-12 10 min or less phone calls a day, 2 hours total games, 3-4 hours tops internet activity.
had one 1 hour phone call one day that took some juice down.

I can't get anywhere near that. About 3 hours of screen time and maybe a total of 6 hours of awake time is about the best I have ever gotten.

I am also using a sbc kernel.
I noticed right away with sense rom and no sbc battery was for crap.
I tried out sense on my second evo. I personally do not like sense roms.
completely unrelated question but has anyones stock cam app stopped working?

I don't know how you guys do it, if I want my phone to last me throughtout the day I have to turn on airplane mode and leave it in my pocket all day.

Use this app. It's called batter battery stats. I got it off xda. You can look at wake locks and overall usage. By far the most comprehensive battery stats application that I have come across.
