Any weather with animated radar( non-Flash)?

Any good weather apps(or direct sites) with ANIMATED radar that will load on non-Flash Android....Droid-X(until Froyo comes out...for real).
I noticed Weather Channel DOES have an animated app that will load but it takes forever for it to load......slower than animated radar would load on my Storm(which was relatively quick) but I thought this Droid-X was supposed to be fast ;). Yeah I know the problem is probably on TWC's side of things as they always seem to be slow.

Had Accuweather on the Storm and I had the animated radar saved as a favorite and could one-click to get it.

Weather Bug does well but the screen in landscape is low on the screen...Droid-X. Animated radar loads fast. Seems good for now. Hope they fix the screen position. Will make a mention of it in comments.

I checked out Rainy Days but right now it shows a lot of ground clutter and is broken into straight lines(some image missing). too much ground clutter on radar!!

EDIT: OK I see you can drag the bar at the bottom of the radar to lessen the effect of ground clutter, but it stays there as a shadow. And every time you load the radar you have to reset that bar!! If they get rid of that, then they've got something!! A for effort, F for options. And it is nothing more than the NOAA weather radar feed.

I believe AccuWeather's mobile site give you animated radar.

I have tried going there but their animated radar is just a still image for me. When on a Windows Mobile phone I was able to see the animation. Since switching to Android, Opera Mini and the stock browser won't show it. I haven't tried other web browsers....

I like the Weather Channel's radar much better, but WeatherBug Elite's radar loads a lot faster. I have both apps on my phone, but even with the speed issues I prefer the Weather Channel.

Today The Weather Channel app and Weatherbug might as well have been shooting darts at a map to find out where I was. They were NO WHERE CLOSE! Between a 1/4 and a 1/2 mile away. What's up with those apps? I just downloaded "Rainy Days" and that one is probably about 200 yards off so it's usable. When I started up Google Maps it nailed it exactly where I was.

Radar Now looks like just another NOAA weather radar feed. Lots of ground cover and it works in portrait only. And the screen isn't 'pinchable'.

Pretty good though. But the search continues.

Accuweather's map is the best but gotta have Flash to get the animated version( I guess). Can't wait for 2.2 to get here for the Droid-X!!

Rainy Days and Radar Now would be great except for me they are always filled with blue interference or something greatly reducing their usefulness.

I get this occasionally and simply refreshing solves the issue. Radar now is the fastest and best I have found so far.

That 'blue interference' is called ground clutter. Can't stand that. Why does NOAA, of all people, leave it on their radar feed?

Thanks,
the ground clutter is on those two apps for my area every single time. I used them both for a couple weeks hoping it wouldn't always be there but it was no use.
I'm using WeatherBug and it's radar now but preferred the way Rainy Days worked outside of the ground clutter.

Weather Bug is good but the radar isn't always accurate or sometimes cuts out on you for no apparent good reason. They've improved it though since it first came out and it is much better than it used to be, but theres still room for improvement.

foreca.com works
