Root Anybody running CM7 source?

Uninstalling it. There was no market and I couldnt sync my contacts with google. I did like the gingerbread look so I might reinstall once all the other apps are in there
 
My icons are green quite a bit, so I'm curious why I need to be connected to Google's servers that much unless it's just like gmail, contact, calendar sync stuff....
 
for those of you that the camcorder is working did you wipe before you flashed or did you flash overtop? currently i am on build 48, is it advised to wipe before i flash 50.5? camcorder isnt a big deal to me so should i just wait till the RC that is supposedly coming this weekend?

I flashed 50.5 overtop 45 with no issue. Camcorder is fixed. Records on Low setting now also.
 
sounds good, tomorrow morning i will most likely flash 50.5 if there isn't a newer version out yet, 48 has been doing great for me the past few days, any improvements on charge speed? seems to be way slower than virtuous or the stock rom/kernel combo.

I've never had to worry about charge speed because I have 3 batteries ( one wall charger for loose battery, & USB wall charger for the phone).

So...I couldn't tell you, sorry.

I can tell you that I have 50.5 overclocked to 1.15 ghz and finally I can run Final Fantasy VII on PSX4droid V2 smoothly with Anti-alias graphics enabled.
 
I did a full wipe before flashing 50.5 and the cam corder is working good!
 
hey guys i ran into a lot of trouble flashing 51 over 49.5
but after i did a clean wipe of everything it seams to be up and running ... boy that was a scare
 
Cam is working for me on 50.5 as well. Everything seems great. Don't want to flash anything else until the RC comes out. Too much time to set everything up again while I'm in school now.

Lol! And I have 4 batteries total!

I have to say that any more than that and it gets too difficult to keep all of them charged up! When you consider it takes 4+ hours to trickle charge using the battery dock-charger thingy and at least 3 hours or so using your Dinc. I'm out all day and generally, my phone is in use, so I can't recharge anything until after about 8pm, so as you can see 4 is my limit.

Occasionally, I have to wake up in the middle of the night and switch batteries to charge in my Dinc and also my battery dock.

(not a problem, of course, if you're lucky enough to have multiple battery docks)

I agree about the wipe. I almost wiped before flashing 49.5 I'm gonna make myself do that before flashing 51 today. I like all the positive things I'm hearing.

Guys, a little off the subject, but this new DSP Manager is abso-friggin AWESOME!!!! I can't be the only one playing with this thing. Incredible bass boost if you need it, and the room effects are amazing through headphones.

Using my Bose headset, it sounds like I'm in a friggin nightclub. I don't know how they're packing so much effect in this thing. My SiriusXM Radio app sounds like I'm using the premium system in my Lexus IS!

I always like to do a full wipe before I flash, but with these coming out so fast, I have not been doing it every time. I am about to flash 51 over 50.5 right now.
