Anyone else disappointed that the DroidX doesnt have a frontfacing camera?

Seeing how i had an evo and my webcam would literally have a black box anytime i videochat and only worked twice in my 2 weeks, the lack of a webcam really doesn't bother me...

I do video blogs for myspace about my modeling and other crazy stuff i do so the EVO was ideal for me Prior to getting it however afterwards and the issues with my webcam it just became something i kind of forgot about.

So on my Droid x it won't have a webcam but to be honest, spec for spec sans 4g(which is still limited) and the webcam, it matches the evo spec for spec and i honestly think they are equals.

Of course one will best the other in one area but im not upset or sad at all about it.
 
But you know you're going to miss the kickstand. :D

This technology literary hit the US less then a month ago. Did you think every device going forward would have one. Give it some time.

its ashame im stuck with this droid till the 15

Although I said the same thing about my evo when i had the hero lol
 
I don't care about the front facing camera, it may be a fun novelty after more people have them and use them. I have a feeling that front facing camera's will be a standard smart phone feature in a year or so, but untill then it's not a big deal for me.

lmao. That's exactly why I TEXT my friends instead of calling. I don't care to see them or speak to them at that moment. :P I'm a big texter, not a big caller. It would be painful for me to jump from being a hermit to exposing myself. :P
 
I guess I should add... I'm going to really miss having the next generation in phone sex. :(
 
not at all, how many times do you guys use the front cam on your laptops?

very rarely, unless your a chatroulette jacker....

had my first chat roulette experience.

It was cool at first and then a bunch of pervs came out of nowhere. I can't tell you how many penises i saw lmfao...Seriously if you know your average or small, why are you showing it off?

Anyways sorry lol...

But that post above just reminded me of the weirdos i encountered the other night haha

maybe that was TOO BLUNT what i said in my last post

But i do agree with you about how often do we use the webcams on our computers.

I really dont webcam THAT MUCH
unless its oovoo and skype
 
I'm disappointed just for the fact that the EVO, iPhone 4 and upcoming Galaxy S has one, from a business/marketing standpoint.

Personally, I couldnt care less. I'm more hyped about the Diversity Antennas. I will take a phone with good/better reception over a Front Camera any day.
