Help Anyone experiencing dead spots on the touch screen?

Mr. Ed

I have to mash down on this spot. It appears to be the only dead spot

Mine actually looks worse than yours, give me a minute, and I'll upload a screen shot. I couldn't get the entire bottom, or left side. The weird thing is, everything is recognized and working with Touch Test. I'm using a Steinheil SGP Ultra Crystal screen protector.

Edit: This is the international Note, I forgot I was in the LTE forum.

I was suffering a massive dead spot on the screen, just on the right hand side, about the size of a 5 cent coin. Since I received my note in the post just today, I was understandably vexed.

Turns out the folio-style case I had bought, which uses a magnet to secure the flap, was messing with the digitiser. As soon as I removed it, it worked perfectly!

I get the exact same results as Mr. Ed too. It always seemed to me that the bottom right area was a little less sensitive. I wonder if this is related. Probably not, but still..

I have sense rooted, running "holo" kernel and using touchscreen tune and the issue is 99% gone

I have this problem but only when trying to switch the camera mode from still to video and it does not happen with the pen.
