Anyone NOT having any problems?

What exact problems are you talking about?? I and im sure the OP would like you to specify what problems you are having if you even have the phone or actually have any problems.

Apparently my poor attempt at sarcasm has all but failed. I made a bad joke, sorry. I'm actually so addicted to the X I think I'm going to wear out the screen with my finger.

I've owned every "Droid" phone on Verizon. Droid 1, Droid Eris, Droid Incredible, and now the Droid X.

Without a doubt this is the best phone of the bunch. I haven't had any issues with it other than slight lag issues with the Motorblur Home, which was easily remedied with Launcher Pro.

The Droid Incredible is a nice phone but I had two major issues with it. The first was horrible battery life. I'd guess my X is getting double the battery life of the Incredible. The other issue I had with the Incredible was signal strength. I didn't drop many calls but there were many times I'd see the phone switch to 1X where my original Motorola Droid would have been 3G. The Droid X signal strength is as good if not better than the original Droid.

Before the update my phone was phenomenal, after the update (aside from adding a few positives) there's one "dead pixel" and the battery seems to not last quite as long.
The phone was run until shutdown then charged
overnight powered off, hopefully that will help it to auto-adjust battery management.

Other then that it's a still a great phone, and since the problems are software related it can be resolved via OTA, if not I can always exchange it for one not effected by the update(s).

Launch day phone here. All updated and rooted. Running launcher pro. No issues. Better battery life than any recent smartphone I've had. Very pleased- there isnt another phone on the market I would rather have right now.

I'm having a blast with this phone, no issues here. Wifi, Screen, size, etc,.. all working perfectly. This is a launch day phone as well. I especially love the battery, lasts me 2 days and at 15% warning, it's still hard to drain.

No problems whatsoever on my X! I am loving it!! All of my friends who have the X say the same thing...they LOVE it!!!

Best smart phone yet! I'm coming from a rooted, customized droid and this is a step up even at stock (of course my Ex is now rooted, but that's another story).

Just remember to take what you read on this forum (or any other, for that matter) with a grain of salt. Everybody has a unique opinion based on their own specific expectations - there is no definitive right or wrong, only what works best for you. My advice is, give it a try. Worst case scenario, exchange before your 30 days is up (it looks like the droid 2 is going to be launched around August 12).

Good luck!

beside a few slight issues, the phone is great. I wouldn't trade my dx for any other phone. And the fact it was just rooted makes it even better =]

The only issues I have had were fixed with the update, or they just haven't resurfaced. I am extremely happy with my Droid X.

Only problems I am having is the so called loud speaker is too quiet to be worth a damn and the other is horrible battery life. I would say the Inc has the same battery life for me with similar operations. Miss orig Droid and Inc volume. On the plus nice big screen..

The only problem im having is that sometime i don't receive texts. Im sure that has nothing to do with the phone though. Everything else has been perfect.

My only issue has been the battery life. Went to Verizon and got a new battery and so far so good. Either it was the battery or all the tweaking I can now get 12+ hours of moderate usage. I love this phone. It blows blackberry out of the water. Had it since launch and I still cannot put the thing down. Not sure how I lived before the days of smartphones and Android. Awesome device!

Former BB Curve and iPhone 4 user here...I had sim card issues and when updated the OS I the firmware crashed and would not reboot to factory settings. No problems at all with the Droid X. I did have to cycle the battery a couple times to have a good charge throughout the day.

The only problems I have found were just me not knowing how to do something lol...speaking of, is there a way to turn all notifications to vibrate easily? If I just use the rocker, it only turns the RINGER to vibe, and I can go into sounds, but it still only does the ringer. In message settings and email settings i can change them, but i want a one click option. Help?

No real problems for me here. Loving my new Droid X (still love my rooted Eris too :)). Picked it up at 8:00 AM on the 15th.

Trying to test-out all of the features to make sure there's nothing wonky about the phone. I did notice that when I tried the FM radio yesterday, I got static while keeping it charged via the USB cable. Was clear and crisp while not charging. Not a show-stopper, though.

Monster screen (in a really good way) -- easy for typing, viewing, and still very portable. Clear, crisp. Very fast and responsive. Different in small ways from my HTC Eris, but a great phone.

Thanks for creating a thread where positive responses could be expressed. So often folks get the idea that there are only problems with the phones.
