I miss 2009 and my dumbphone. My droid x for the past couple months has been DRIVING ME COMPLETELY INSANE. I so need a new phone

These are the only two reasons I would upgrade to the DX2!

1. VZ would let any current DX user trade up and upgrade early! (likely)

2. Instead of the $200 price tag would offer $100-$150 off upgrade price for current DX users! (unlikely) Free for current DX users! (very unlikely)

This works good for me because I have 4 lines. One I don't use but only for upgrades and 2 of them have upgrades later this year. My wife has a Dinc and shes completely happy with it and my 12 year old son has my old LG Dare. The wife doesn't use half of the features of her Dinc so upgrading is not in her furture. My son on the otherhand wants my DX.

So if I upgrade to the DX2 I can use it untill something with 4G and a front facing camera comes along! (maybe DX3) Give my son DX2 I still have a upgrade available just incase the wife gets that itch.

the X2 will certainly get rooted...but it won't have the same dev support as our X's did/do now..

at this point they might as well scrap it...isn't the "Targa" supposed to be out in Fall?...that would give the Bionic what? 6 months tops as Moto's flagship phone?...waste...

Rumor has it the original bionic was scrapped and the targa will get the bionic name.
