[AOSP/Gingerbread] Mini BAMF 1.0 -

It is OMGB based but has some BAMF features thrown in.

Doesnt look too different from OMFGB but i'm sure with time...(it is only the first release)
 
Looks a lot like OMFGB, I personally hate the kernel that this rom is using. I may try it out if LTB or Theory don't update their roms soon. I've been having crappy luck getting OMFGB running on my phone, tried for an hour this morning and got FC on titanium after each restore, then I went on a flashing spree, so far I have ran 4 roms today.
 
I don't really have the urge to try this yet...just putting it out there if people want to follow it...i will probably wait until they customize it enough to make it different from omfgb
 
Well I just saw there is an updated version of hack3dao5p or whatever it is called, looks like I will also be holding off on this.
 
I am impressed they are using the OMFGB base instead of CM, I think they are the first AOSP to do that.
 
I knew this was a rumor for a while. Glad to see they actually did it. As yeahha said, it's nice to see someone using OMGB as a source instead of CM7. Loving all these AOSP offerings we have right now. I've been on CM7 for about a month now, still haven't tried Theo47589375057y. Looks like I'll have to give one of these new ROMs a try

LOL, "Theo47589375057y" is a good rom. I've been running it for a few days. I was getting crappy battery life so I switched to IMO's lean kernel and all is good. I am still pulling for a chevy AOSP rom but I can see that taking a bit before it happens.
 
So I've heard. scotty can't get enough of it lol. All you Moto people love this Chevy dude. I've never heard of him. Is he like a Slayher or Adrynalyne (One BAD ASS ROM or multiple, great ROMs)
 
I only ran his simply stunning rom on the og droid. I think he also had a simply stunning rom on the DX. Both of them were AOSP to the best of my knowledge (know for sure the OG droid one was). The two roms I spent the most time on with my og droid were Chevy's and Liquid's. Liquid's AOSP rom is very close to what it was on the og droid. I don't think chevy built from a CM I think he build from AOSP source directly, kind of looks like he did the same with the AOSP rom he made before the RIL was worked out.

He had one bad ass ROM for multiple devices, "simply stunning"
I think that was his only ROM
 
Gotcha. well, considering the bad news with slayher more than likely leaving Verizon he's a welcomed addition to the TB ROM scene

im a droidth3ory fan now :D his roms work so good on my phone,even the sense based ones. everyone needs to try a519519519opth541915+1+4+161+62216625ory :eek::p very few(maybe none?!) roms have kept me away from cm7 as long as this one has.

i knew of chevyno1,but got too hooked on cm to give his rom

i guess ill give this and blue hack95195197191091a99*84*84op a try at some point :D

a519519519opth541915+1+4+161+62216625ory? is that the sense 3.0 one or the AOSP one? Like I said in some thread I went on a flashing spree this morning and ended up just restoring the nandroid of AOSP theory or whatever that is in 1337:cool:
 
I really like A05PTH3ORY (and I am 1334 enough to spell it, lol). I had to do the sense flash for the first time yesterday. I had the GPS switch does not actually switch on GPS thing.

I, too, tried OMGB and OMFGB and they did not run well. yeahha, I think our phones are twins separated at birth--you seem to have exactly the same opinion on which ROMs are easy to get running and run well on your phone.

I have had the usual setup issues with A05PTH3ORY, but once it is running, it has absolutely no lag, no hiccups, etc. I flashed gingeritits 3d to get a sense GPS lock and messed around with it a bit. It is nice, but it absolutely lags compared to a good AOSP ROM. There is always this little delay when you close an app, etc. It is very short, but I notice it every time. Makes me feel like I am back on Windows ME, lol. Ziggy's kernel has way more CPU speeds than needed. (I actually think there really only needs to be 3--asleep, standby, and getthehelloutoftheway, and that the governors over-complicate a simple problem).

I may try this mini BAMF thing once it goes through a release or two.
 
Yeah with how many issues I've had with OMFGB I hesitant to try this out. I'm sure on a future update I will need to try it but I'm passing on it for now.
 
I am running this now. Mostly because I'm a flashaholic. While its nice and all I prefer thunderbread. Both roms are fast and fluid. Liquids toolbox gives it an edge in my opinion.

I think its because Trident joined Team Liquid, so the toolbox gets put in those Roms now. I had the pleasure of using Trident's toolbox for a while when he was with Team Bamf, its some great stuff.

One day I might flash this Mini Bamf, but Uber has been amazing for me, so no need.

I've used liquids roms since my Droid one. He always includes a toolbox. Trident or not. I love liquids roms. Glad trident joined :)

Yeah, his roms have always been very smooth. He still has a problem where ever other build does have something wrong, LTB 2.4 was great 2.5 had some issues 2.6 is great. I remember back on LFY it was the same thing.
 
I may have to try LTB 2.6 again. I had some weird stuff with it, but it may have been kernel related, and there have been about 5 updates to all of the AOSP kernels since then.

Then again, the bluehackedazoidthingy looks pretty cool. And I guess I owe uber bamf a try...and DT just put out a 2.10 sense rom...and...wow it is cool to own a TB right now. A05PTH3ORY 1.4X is pretty garsh dang stable, so i have a nice ROM to flash back too (although I must say I think that it may not play nice with TWRP every time).

One thing: I am NOT getting better battery life with the RHCP modded Imo 3.5.8 as compared to 3.5.11--I may go back to 11. Then again, it may be the new radio. I guess flashing things at whim is not exactly a rigorous scientific process.
