Root Apex themes

This is more of a general question, but...

...is Apex one of the less popular roms? I only ask because while I wait anxiously for tntdroid to finish making a red and black Apex theme, I've been looking for others. And there really doesn't seem to be nearly as many Apex themes (even for 1.3) as there are for Liberty, Rubix, etc. I haven't installed any roms yet, and I really do want to try one that's still moderately similar to blurry stock, but the lack of theme variation for Apex is really making me eye up Liberty more and more.

apex is actually one of the most used roms out ,,,,the theme base all depends on what the themers want to theme,,,here is a list of apex themes and if you search the forums there are some in the wild not listed as well
Themes For ApeX 1.4.x (2/21/11) - Droid Forum - Verizon Droid & the Motorola Droid Forum

For the X I get the impression ApeX and Liberty are THE two big boys on the block.
A lot of testimonials I read say Apex is the more stable of the two, but I can't vouch for that.. Haven't tried Liberty yet. Liberty is supposed to be an all out excellent blur-less rom. ApeX is "just enough blur".

I'm a brand spankin' new rooted DX'r and running ApeX as my first rom and it was cool enough I'm following the dev on twitter.. hehehe.. Even though I don't mess with twitter much. And yes he should have said hello to Meghan M, maybe got her to sign a book copy. LOL Yowzers! :)

But the ROM is absolute top-notch. It's scary fast compared to stock and I too can say it's more stable than stock by far. So if the dev is around.. Bravo!!!!

Infact, if Gingerbread were to hit the Droid X, I'd really be at a cross-roads.. I'd say ApeX is probably better on .340.

My 2cents from a newb. :)

It also depends on what forum you visit.....some Roms are more popular in certain forums than others......For example, ApeX is more popular here because this is the "home" Fabolous chose ;)

i still have a few things left to develop in the new redone rogue cell x. with the help of bouchigo, it never would have happened, so i have him to thank for all the assistance, i just need to get a few things fixed before i push it out
