Root app backup

what is something i can backup my apps with and when i flash a new rom actually be able to have my apps back the way i had them before? because titanium backup obviously isnt doing this for me,... thanks all

how is titanium restoring them for you? and, having the apps back the way before?, what do you exactly mean? are you missing app data when restoring them??

what it is, my gfs evo i flashed it lastnight, i used titanium back to backup her events and apps, 1 specific app she needs..its important.. the flash went well.. but i cant get that app back on the phone, i put TB back on the phone, and i go to backup/restore, and its not in there. so now im clueless and feel like an ass for losing her important stuff
 
he has another thread going where he is having issues with tb. i have neverhad any issues with tb and i still think that it is a must have. some people use mybackup pro though.

you didn't by chance reformat sd card? wipe sd card? were there any other apps that weren't there or was it just that one?

when i flashed i cleared dalvik,and i think the one that says data/system restore or something like that... but i just restored with the nandroid. so its back to square 1... lol will TB not backup apps that are password protected? if i just use TB and hit backup. it will backup that app with all the info saved in the app and i should be able to put it back on the new rom right?

im starting all over, im going to hit BACKUP in TB, to save this app and its data on the app.. then when i flash the new rom i can bring that app with the data back right??
 
yep. when you go to the list of apps scroll down to the end of the list. your apps should be there. also if you batch restore they should there as well.
