Thanks, Steve & everyone, for sharing your info. I appreciate everyone's patience as I finish up school. I haven't even had a chance to upgrade my own DX to Gingerbread yet. In May I should be able to resume Android work, so stay on the lookout for some updates. Here are a few QuickClock-related things I will be working on:
1. Improving Max Speed Finder
2. A couple UI fixes so that text is properly visible despite re-theming
3. Improving Set at Boot functionality
4. Adding a widget
(The following will be major undertakings...)
5. Compatibility for kernels using any number of CPU scaling slots
6. Compatibility for devices using Snapdragon processors
7. Compatibility for devices using Hummingbird processors
8. Compatibility for devices using Tegra 2 processors
At this point, I'm thinking that the first three items in that list will be the first update as they are the most crucial.
