Help Application Manager

Download the LG market from android market and it is there
That's how I got it on my connect cuz it's not pre installed
Sent from my LG-MS840 using Tapatalk

Ok, I just installed Broken Out 1.0 and it's awesome except that..

Application Manager isn't installed. I tried pulling the APK from the "LG Esteem Stock App.zip" from this thread:

http://androidforums.com/esteem-all-things-root/435963-metro-apps-restorer-download.html

But that Application Manager.apk does not work. Neither does the apk from mrpnut.

Anyone know how to get this back onto the Esteem?

edit:
I forgot to mention that I did try the LG SmartWorld App Store. I registered, and I was able to download "Application Manager 1.0" but what's annoying about it is that it has a small notification popup saying "Only LG Devices Supported" and it annoys me because I have an LG device! The app works, but the 1.0 version doesn't show how much free memory you have.

If there is no way to get Application Manager 1.1 then I'll give up because the 1.0 version will suffice, but I like things perfect.

When you rebooted it installed. Theres no need to to go back into the system>app folder and tap it. Thats when you are getting the app not installed message.

Are you running an aftermarket launcher? (LauncherPro, ADW, GO) If you are youll need to add WidgetPicker into your system>app folder and then you can access all your stock widgets

Am beginning to question if i really want this...only real reason i want it is cause i usually leave apps running cause i cant get out of them quick enough except by using the home button...with this i just use the widget and close any apps running that i left open.

My Esteem is running the LD-LG ZVB Stock/Mod RoM have no idea which laucher it uses but since you said it installed when i booted and ive not seen the sucker neither, in apps running nor apps installed then i placed the WidgetPicker.apk in the system/app folder as you said...no dice.

I would give up but i dont like leaving a prob ive set out to solve, unsolved.

Ty all for ur help ahead of time btw.
