It isn't on the android market.

Ok, I just installed Broken Out 1.0 and it's awesome except that..
Application Manager isn't installed. I tried pulling the APK from the "LG Esteem Stock App.zip" from this thread:
http://androidforums.com/esteem-all-things-root/435963-metro-apps-restorer-download.html
But that Application Manager.apk does not work. Neither does the apk from mrpnut.
Anyone know how to get this back onto the Esteem?
edit:
I forgot to mention that I did try the LG SmartWorld App Store. I registered, and I was able to download "Application Manager 1.0" but what's annoying about it is that it has a small notification popup saying "Only LG Devices Supported" and it annoys me because I have an LG device! The app works, but the 1.0 version doesn't show how much free memory you have.
If there is no way to get Application Manager 1.1 then I'll give up because the 1.0 version will suffice, but I like things perfect.
did u put that apk file in ur systems /app and paste then reboot
did u put that apk file in ur systems /app and paste then reboot

I also want to reinstall the application manager. I have the .apk file. I put it in the /system/app folder and rebooted...i get the message "application did not install". No reason why, no nothing...just that it didnt install. Any1 have any ideas how i can get it back to work on the esteem?
Try this. I can't guarantee it will work any different, but I pulled it straight from a rom, and just stripped away everything except the App Manager apk.
Download, and flash in recovery.

When you rebooted it installed. Theres no need to to go back into the system>app folder and tap it. Thats when you are getting the app not installed message.
Are you running an aftermarket launcher? (LauncherPro, ADW, GO) If you are youll need to add WidgetPicker into your system>app folder and then you can access all your stock widgets
Placed in external sdcard > went into recovery > install .zip on sdcard > error didnt install...looked at log and it said it found a ; when it expected an IF THEN or ELSE statement.
