Depends if you are premier silver or gold and to determine that would be based on the type of plan you have.
Here is what my Sprint page says....
Dammit!!
Exclusive to Sprint Premier Gold customers: Score automatic eligibility for an upgrade on one line per qualifying plan every 12 months. All other lines eligible every 22 months with Sprint's New For You
Since you are silver then no you wouldn't qualify for the full upgrade but there may still be hope. Sprint made changes to their upgrade program on April 1st and many people that would have had ugrades come June 1st lost it until June of 2012. If you call customer care they may be able to get you your upgrade eligibility back.
On with Sprint right now and being told just what's stated above this. Come June 1st, I can get $75 off. He is asking around if there is anything that can be done.
So @ $75 off, does that mean I'd get 75 off the full retail price of the phone, which is likely to be $599??

Good question. If it's only $75 full retail then I will go ahead and pay full retail this year and take my full discount when I'm eligible.
Yep!!! But keep trying and remember it pays to be polite.
Yeah cause $75 isn't worth another 2 years
I'm a Sprint Premier Gold customer. 10+ years. So I called Sprint and simply explained that it would be cheaper for me to cancel my contract, pay my ETF, and sign back up with Verizon than to purchase a brand new phone with Sprint at full price. They moved my new customer pricing eligibility from Sept 1st to May 15th.
Edit: This does not work with Verizon. They will tell you to switch Carriers. Verizon has no interest in retaining customers for some reason.
I'm sure most of you know this but the Early Termination Fees with Verizon and Sprint are pro-rated now over the length of your contracts. So, for instance, I have 6 month left on my contract with Sprint. So It would only cost $50 to cancel it; versus $200 for a new customer to cancel.
LoL... You're welcome. Just be nice to the Sprint account services people. Don't abuse their kindness or ask for unreasonable things. 99% of the time they'll help you out.You sir just got Sprint retention a call from me. THANKS!!!
You can achieve Gold status by reaching a certain price point on your monthly bill. I think it's $130 or something like that.Guys. I switched to Sprint last August from Att. I purchased 2 evo's and have the family 1500 shared family plan.
Immediately after purchasing our Evo's sprint online showed that I was eligible for an upgrade . I called them the other day and they said I am indeed eligible for an update and I have a premier membership that allows me to upgrade every year. The other line is only eliglbe every 22months.
I've been with them for less than a year. How did this happen? I do have a corporate discount of 27%. Maybe that's it? It was strange I was immediately eligible for an upgrade but i'm not arguing with them about it
I love sprint and their focus on customer service! I see me with them for a long time as long as their coverage is acceptable.
You *should* be 1-Year Upgrade eligible as of June 4th. Which mean $75 of a brand new phone.im a gold customer, but when i click on my contract details, it says, "Your agreement with us, which started on 06/04/10, will be completed on 06/03/12."
will i be able to upgrade to the 3D if it comes out on june 4?
