Root [AT&T] My poor S4. PLEASE Help!!#

I've had my S4 for 3 months lay week she showed signs of lag which progressively got worse right down to shutting down as well as getting hot during charge. (still using original charger) and yesterday she started shutting on and off randomly during use but always coming right back on. ultimately as of today sadly she cut off on me and waz stuck on Verizon screen for quite a while. Upon removing battery to allow cooling it came back on but still if it gets warm it repeats the ladder. Also occasionally threw up "system.process not responding" help please

Yeah I've downloaded some apks
(or attempted to) through my phones browser. They were for gamehack apps and a few for one click root apps for my husbands phone. (Different mod) but I've FDR as well as hard resetting and no dice.i top considered rogue app but If i did both resets Wouldn't that have deleted.that too?? And i sincerely thank u for Ur response
 
It would delete the app but the questions is did you put the app back on . the next thing you want to set the screen time out and brightness . can you post a screenshot of what's running on the device . I know my s5 run hot when we battle at work with tetris and asphalt.
 
Yeah i.backed up with titanium and moved the titanium backup file to SD. Removed SD before resets and havent reinserted it since then cuz i was.unsure.
 
the thing is its stuck in I guess its called boot. The white Verizon screen after the Verizon black/blue screen. Lol occasionally itll finish booting and power on but idk how to enter safe mode so as to do any thing
 
Okay I have it on now any suggestions on what I should look for or troubleshoot? Also i forgot to say that airplane mode icon stays on always and it isn't on. I have screen shot but idk how to load it
 
O I was about to say you Dont need us we need you . to enter safe mode you need to hold the power button down til that box popup and it has reboot ,power off ,snapshot . etc . OK when this box pop up long press reboot til you see the message about safeboot
 
That's cool I like Ur enthusiasm but it went out again so is there a way I can enter safemode through the white Verizon boot screen? I guess it has to cool off before itll power on
 
Can I ask how hot is this device . thinking you may need to unroot return it or get warranty to handle exchange for you . cause every device get hot . but if this is that hot you can use to melt ice in the south pole it maybe a defected device. Did you drop , punch or kick it .
 
Nope no trauma to device and i dont think its the heat that's powering it off because just a few minutes ago It powered on Ed fully charged, wasn't plugged in and I was able to use it long enough to check on specs. And it powered back off. And at the time it powerd off it wasn't "hot" to the touch. No warmer than Ur average phone. I spoke of overheating but meant overheating when I charge it and use it at.the same time.
But if you think that's best I'll go with that.cuz I'm in pre~K as far as rooted devices go
 
It will get hot if you leave on and charge and also using it . yes mines do this on every device. How is your battery life how long it last .
 
I actually was using GO but I read that somewhere else so I dumped it. You think maybe there may still be.residuals from that? And.idk.how to do the rom.n stuff.yet fo.i jusy dowload them and unzip n transfer.from my pc?

Nope and the game hacker is a mod hack that works (for me anyway) as an unlimited coin/credit/rpm etc. mod and I've used it for games ranged from nitro nation to each of the games by king (saga games) down to the new Farmville2
