Root Awesome Android AOKP

im downloading it now, gonna see if i can pinpoint the problem, plus id kinda like to test it out myself at some point

its possible that the one in system/vendor/etc is wrong as well. and after moving it you will need to restart the phone if you havent already, its not just gonna work instantly. but yea ill look into is in about an hour when i finally get it, or you could try this
https://www.dropbox.com/s/m94mttgfvfcvkqz/audio_policy.conf
that is the one that works for cm, remove the one from system/vendor/etc and replace the one in system/etc with this one, see if that works out, it should

Got a new build going now that should fix the audio.
Still working on bt

EDIT: Uploading

EDIT2: you guys want me to include CMFilemanager and Apollo?

EDIT 3: lol, forgot to let you guys know i tested audio and it works now...

EDIT 4: Updated OP with new link to March 10th build

good stuff, and i finally read the op, lol. i like the thanks, i truly do have a million ideas, most of them arent good ideas, but ideas none the less XD

Works for me did you factory reset?

If you want to test today's second build open it in 7 zip and GI to meta-inf/com/Google/android/ and edit the updater script in notepad + remove the assert lines at the beginning of the file. AOKP doesn't add the right device for some reason.

Sd card won't mount also no file explorer can get to it. Only astro
Then astro won't load the system folder.... Please help I would love to use my Sd card

we may want to add in the mkdir command for the /sdcard directory into our init.warp2.rc so people can find it easier

If you mkdir /sdcard then it won't symlink to sdcard. It will say the file/folder already exists. I tried it and it doesn't symlink, just makes the folder.

huh, thats messed up. i thought it worked that way, did you try using the mkdir both before and after the symlink? just rule out the possibility of it having to be one way or the other?

Mine mounts so either you need to do a factory reset or fix permissions and download a file explore off the play store easy

you have to mount the root file system as writable. you cant copy things to system normally its protected but most file managers have an option to make system writable. just need to be careful what you do in there

SD card mounts and is responsive. Can install apps to it anyway.

Its basically a CM10 ROM. If it works in CM10, it works in this. There may be a few differences, but its ultimately identical.

As a side note, PlayfulGod, I have a Q9600 with 4 GB of RAM I could setup as you see fit. I have the phone, and the build machine. You git me build files, and I'll build what i can. You can have root privs and build while I'm away. I'm willing to give you sudo creds on my machine (running Ubuntu 12.04 w/full SDK) just to help out out ROM base. Or, indeed, help out the Cyanogen cause.

Or, feel absolutely free to give me a build enviroment that you are comfortable with. Im willing to do whatever I can (outside of donating a $200 phone).

This is completely legit. Anyone that has a build environment, please PM me for setting this up. I can upgrade to an i5 w/8GB DDR3, nVidia GT610 but the Q96 should suffice for nightlies, betas, and quick tests.

Im really serious of getting all stock ROMS off this fantastic device. We can do better than what ZTE can. I read PG's earlier comment, and seriously want to help. I cant donate a phone, but I can donate a spare computer with 5Mb/s down and 2.5Mb/s up and direct access full time, anytime. Its basically your box.

Also, my dumbass paid for insurance. And I'm no Android ****. I can unbrick a device. Call me your testbed and buildbox. :-)

I have an update to fix Mount issues with sdcard. Will upload in a bit. Still working on Bluetooth.

Can someone test MMS and confirm whether it works or not.
