Are you serious. I did a factory data reset. cleared cache, dalvik. Still does not boot

Ok, so it does boot. Data factory reset, wipe dalvik. Flash ROM, restart. Pull battery. Then do factory data reset again. Golden

well the people gotta know how to boot it! Gotta make sure your finger is over the mic for proper voice calibration while booting the second time.

How to update an Iphone:
Step 1.) Go to your local pawn or gun dealer and buy a .44 Magnum and a box of bullets.
Step 2.) Load the gun.
Step 3.) Place your Iphone upright on a level stable surface.
Step 4.) Grab the gun, pull the hammer back and point gun at center of screen.
Step 5.) Pull Trigger.
Your Iphone is now up-to-date. :~P

Well I used a .22. I know you said to get a .44 magnum, but I didnt have one on hand. Iphones should have to easier update methods. Jeez. Anyways. I was a little nervous upgrading my iPhone Cuz I've never used this method before. But I can say I'm pretty happy with the results
. Works WAY better then before! The only thing is I have to hold the mic up to my mouth with my left hand now while I hold the camera and half of the screen to my ear with the right. :banghead:Crash_Override

Hey shin, is the kernal in the latest build the serenity kernal. I remember dtm having issues building a new kernal off the zte bo9 kernal. Memory leak or somthing

we dont have the new kernel source, so we cant build the one they use in b09. the one in b09 fixes the memory leak but doesnt have any of our added features and fixes for aokp/cyanogenmod

I know this is probably noobish, but is there no way to extract it from the rom?

we can, but we cant modify it at all. so there will be some incompatibilities. you can replace the customized one with the stock one by taking the stock b09 boot.img, unpacking it in the android kitchen, then unpacking the boot.img from this, and replacing the zimage file. that is the kernel itself. any problems that causes you though will be your own problem

yes, basically its encrypted. so unless we have the source code we are screwed, we have the original flawed source, but they never put out the new stuff. hopefully they put out a new source when they finally release jb if they can manage not to screw it up too bad that is

i have bugged them myself, got the run around, talked to like 5 different departments, most of which either didnt understand what i was saying or tried to tell me they dont have the kernel source. theyre a bunch of assholes, if someone else wants to deal with them so be it but i cant get shit out of them

Does the expanded even do the pie shortcut? or
EDIT No pie answered it I thought it was included because this is the famous pacman ROM for HTC one that was ported for us by awesome shin lol
the android 4.2 based rom has the pie controls. unfortunately the 4.1 version does not. i used the most current upstream when i ported it.
a petition will scare them into releasing it, that's how we got it on the N860 warp 1. make a petition with signatures and then contact the gpl administration.

i figure we better save the big guns for when they finally release jb. its not like aokp and cm are really ready yet anyhow. very close, but not quite there. and yes there is a couple short term fixes for bt, one is to unpack the rom, unpack the boot.img, and edit the init.warp2.rc to instead of running all the brcm_patchram_plus commands run hciattach with the right variables which i cant seem to remember right now but if you really want to go that far i can get you the correct command. all that will do is file transfer though and it will be very very very slow. which reminds me, any luck looking into kernel modifications shin?
