I .am homeless and lost my 5 computers. couldnt pay storage.My cellphones help take care of my geek or nerd needs.I try to open every single file possible. So things i write hear are just random memories of files i have opened.This may give you all something new to think about or not.

mY phone has files called PITTPATT what is PITTPATT Seems it is a FACIAL REQUOCNITION SOFTWARE.but i dont see how to use t5his feature. google buys pittpatt

they are sneaky cfg and ini mirrored by other cfg and ini you cant just change one file and see effects.the mirrror file reverts the changed file Persist?

Can i take apart foreign kernel ,rom or module,firmware and use what i want. (i want best RADIO capability)

yeah its funny if you read everything the dev talks to . We chown this, untill we talk to google we disable this,If this we that,Sometimes its like a Naration to the coding.

well it kind of makes sense as you dont want to start setting up system links and permissions on certain files and trying to run certain scripts from /system/etc before you mount the system partition at boot...


oneshot means the script/service is ran once and when it exits thats all there is to it instead of a service that stays on
 
oh ok, that makes sense thank you, i have seen a few, many oneshots are at boot, after they run i can change them, thats why my settings are not permanent. somethings i change last untill reboot or a change.such as radio service turned on or off.


though some of the files i am refering to are opposite of what you are saying, as if the script started later than suppose to and it knows uh uh uh denied

yeah for awhile now. i get bo9red and try to disect everyfile on our phone,i get mad that my motion doesnt display all files and some are truncated but i now have a laptop that i think i may be able to view contents of files like .ko .so .lib .bin and such t5hat my motion wont open correctly
i have seen some weird sh### in a few scripts. they knew we would get root access no matter what they did.so my impression the didnt try to stop root very well but concentrated and burrying and twisting files to make full control hard.

EDIT another thing i like to do is stare at my screen when i am doing virus scan or backup or recovery. you know when every file is quickly displayed as its scanned or written. they fly by superfast. i read those and know where it is and what it does, sorta like a flashcard system
 
sleep under a bridge, i go to starbucks for wifi and tricity, or after 5 when bussiness close i found a building or 2 that has 110 outside.i hijack wifi from businesses when i cant afford metro (which throttled me to like 100k on unlimited because i used to much bandwidth,in top 5 users) i bought a small 12 volt battery like for ups backup security cams or sauch. i caan charge and use my phones pretty much all day
Looking at CLEAR.com a 4g service (not phone } that has real unlimited service they claim 6meg down. i have a google phone number and grooveip so i can make and recieve calls through wifi when metro not paid.

sorta one of a kind homeless guy here,others recycle cans,steal copper ,i carry a battery 2motions optimus m admire,a soldering iron and a vbunjch of chargers, sell mma fight dvds.
i was given a broken laptop i carried around for 2 months untill i got a hard drive to install, i just got a matched pair of 2 gig memory chips to put in. gonna try dualboot windows and possibly ubuntu when i get a chance, i am collecting root tools an such to make a few bucks here n there workin on peoples phones till i get a job again.

clear uses wimax which is what sprints old 4g network used. and can be fairly expensive to start up. i would honestly look into freedompop. they offer wimax 4g coverage via clear/sprint. they offer a mifi and usb stick, they cost 100/50 respectively but its just a security deposit that you can get back. they offer 3 plans;

500MB's a month for free
2GB's for 18 a month
4GB's for 29 a month

obviously there is a big initial investment but if you can keep usage under 500MB's a month you could have a free mobile hotspot every month :)

(who knows maybe some generous souls on here would even donate to help you out....)


edit: ok appears they stopped selling those devices and now only offer an ipod touch sleeve (rather sad IMO) but here is one on ebay for sale or if youd rather trust amazon...

Sorry to hear about your situation. My heart goes out to you. Although I was not homeless ( at times, to close for comfort ) I was out of work for two and a half years, till about three months ago. Things are starting to improve. Good luck to you.
 
Thanks for the concern guys, i am sure things will go my way sometime. and shabby clear has said i can get a transceiver modem for 50 and unlimited service for 45 or 49 something like that with thier discount they are offering.the modem will support 8 devices, thats if i am, not to late i talked to them over a week ago, i thought i would have the money by now, its about 115 for modem and 1 month, shipping is free with discount
but checkin that site now

yea man id look into it i mean its not unl but for 100 bucks you cna grab a hotspot activate it online and get 500MB's free for a month and then upgrade if you need

no sweat, i am still learning android,i just wanted people to know what this phone might be able to do, i want the 5 gig wifi,i think i saw 9gig band on a file, must be for overseas use. oh and faST CHARGE CAPABLE,if i can get around some of this maze of scripts and mirrored and link persist files and crap, i dont have to have u8nlock so bad.i thinkthis kernel can be overclocked,from what i u7nderstand it already is.
i never had a cellphone till i was homeless.my first one was a basic phone, then i got an admire,found this site and realized its just a mini laptop with user restrictions.i was big on computers and modifications, ran a few online gaming servers using a few rAckmounts i bought and sent to Peer1 data center i8n new york.So i remotley handled those and a few teamspeak servers i rented slots for gaming clans,at that time a buddy i meant playing medal of honor started a clan called thelostbattalion. those machines were win 2000 server i8 think. but it was great having a personal dually on huge pipe for my own use,torrents ftp gaming,the other servers paid for it all. after 1 week i had my first computer i was fixing dll and irq problems but didnt know how to copy and paste.lol anyways satarbucks is closed and i am in an industrial zone now where the bussinesses are closed and theres 110 and the Wic cewnter has a very weak wifi. i downloaded a movie yesterday i want to finish.

also check bottom of 1st post ddwrt very interesting modified firmware for wifi routers
