Root battery by 1%...

Okay guys, BattMonX v2.9 updated / published to the Market with better support for CM7 ROMs. Should also work better for other phones that support / have the charge_counter file.

I've still got to work on re-building the donate version, so it'll be out there on the Market soon for those that have BattMonX Donate (which I very much appreciate).

Cheers and enjoy!

A great app deserves praise... I love simple (probably not simple to code) apps that do what they say and get the job done w/o all the extra crap people try to put in them. Job well done.

Updated to this one with CM7. Worked well but showed up frequently in my Battery Usage stats as eating up 9% to 20% and it never showed in there before so I disabled it for now.

That's a little strange...

The only changes from the last version was basically to auto-recognize a Moto Droid X phone's CM7 identity / code name and handle it like it does in 2.1/2.2/2.3...

The old polling-interval settings are pretty-much irrelevant at this point since the app uses the system intents to see a battery status change. There is a sleep/delay cycle framework that's still there (from day one), but it should consume any undue resources or CPU cycles.

I can't do any debugging re. CM7 since I don't have that ROM installed, but you could always turn debugging on and view its log file or use a logcat utility--I'd be very surprised to find anything untoward (I've debugged the crap out of this app, LOL, especially the changes put in for v2.7).

Let me know if you want me to debug or look at any logs (scary.alien@gmail.com), I'd be more than happy to.

Cheers!
