Battery check?

Mine lasts from 7am to 7-8 pm. I'm a moderate user. But in Mexico with data turned off it would last all day with me using is as a camera and for WiFi use and it would be at 60% when I went to bed every night and I started my days at about 6am.

Yes I forgot to mention this was moderate use, I only had about 100 text messages yesterday, and about a quarter of them were me sending pictures to my wife. So, that was also me taking about several pictures. Then I was searching on the internet over Wi-Fi (I keep that on all the time) for a starting motor for our tractor for about a half hour. And also about 45 minutes worth of calls.

Mexico? do you live there or just visiting?

I'm honestly disappointed with the battery life so far. I just got my phone and activated it on Saturday. So far I've only lasted 24 hours at best on a full charge. Is there something i'm doing or not doing? This is with moderate to heavy use with instagram, facebook, checking mail, having push notifications on for gmail and work email, and with my display brightness set to below the halfway mark.

As i'm typing this, my phone is currently at 41% after 13h16m.:(:dontknow:

I think you and I might have different ideas as to what "good battery life" means. I would generalize that a good benchmark for phones is 8-12 hours of heavy usage in-between charges. I can kill my Galaxy Nexus in about 3-4 hours of constant use.

Just got the Razr M and wow...battery seems impressive thus far. I had 4 hours of screen-on time yesterday, 12 hours since I had pulled it off the charger...and still had 46% battery life. To me...that's impressive (but then again, I've never had a phone that was known for good battery life).

Remember to disable the apps you dont use, as they can eat up the battery. I can get 2 days with light-moderate use, mostly emails. Recharging the battery doesn't seem abnormally long.

:)
