Help Battery draining 1% every 20 minutes in idle mode

Thanks mate, funnily enough just trying that!
Cheers :)

EDIT: Ok let it idle for just over an hour and did what you suggested - there was only one thing on the list 'ActivityManager-Launch' and that didn't look like it was using anything.

Which version of Lite'ning Rom are you running? I'm guessing 5.0?

If so, flash the ninphetamine 2.0.5. kernel and be done with your battery drain problem. 75% of the people using Lite'ning Rom 5.0 have battery drain issues with the speedmod kernel that comes with it.

You should probably clear the cache and dalvik too.

If not 5.0, then continue trying to find what apps are keeping you awake, and then possibly freeze.
So going to run my phone down and charge up to 100% and run the app to make sure :D

I could be wrong, but I think you have it backwards. You run the app when your phone is at 100%, THEN let it run down. Charge again, and then your calibration should be complete.

Ta mate, have run at 100% and recalibrated battery again - leaving it over night to run down and will charge again to 100% to 'complete' calibration. If after that no joy I'll go with the kernel you suggest. In this instance can I simply go over the top of KG5 with ninephetamine or do I have to wipe again?

You should probably clear the cache and dalvik too.

Sorry what's dalvik?

Thanks.

I'd recommend the Ninphetamine kernel also, on both Leomar and Battista ROMs I had problems with their default kernels that were fixed by flashing to Ninpo.

In recovery, Advanced/Wipe dalvik cache. It's used by the Dalvik VM (the part of Android that actually executes application code).

Strangely don't have that option Have the option to clear cache partitions which I did. There are no advance options for some reason? Did clear the cache parititons, so perhasp that clears cache and Dalvik cache?

Ok this is weird. I went to 100% last night and hit the battery calibration again so it was at 100% at 11.20pm. After some light use then being in sleep most of the night I checked at 9.20am and it's at 90%, so losing 10% in 10 hours while in sleep. I actually thought that was quite good and seems to be back to what I'd call normal. Is this the usual, that it loses power while sleeping?

Well the battery finally seems o be running well touch wood after last nights second calibration. Been on since 11.20pm last night, it's now 20.20pm and have 30% left. Have surfed the web both wifi and 3g sent emails and texts, played games and emulators, taken photos, made a few calls etc. And seems to be going strong. I also downloaded screen filter and that seemed to improve battery life too. Hoping i'll get over 24hours use now. Thanks to all:-)
