Lol way faster, way more battery conservative and i paid the same price i paid for the admire last year lol this deal couldnt have gotten any better.....
So after music for about an hour with 4G data on then some texting for another 3 hours i had 50% left all in about 5 hours and 6 hours i was at 40% great battery Qualcomme and LG lol

After disabling the apps, I got much better battery life thank you all. My last use was 15-16 hours. I was asleep for 5 of those hours with 4G turned off, but upon waking up at 6 a.m., I turned on 4G again and left it on while driving for 6 hours.

This is with fairly heavy use. Gps, messaging, some YouTube, etc.

not sure if this helps as yet but worth trying in case apps are getting data that you may nit know. in settings/data usage/ click on limit mobile data usage. i set my limit to 1000gb but if you scroll down you can stop apps that you dont want to connect to the internet so im guessing they wont run as much in the background therefore prolonging battery life. and now i will accept my nobel peace prize fir this wonderful acheivement hold the applause thank you thank you

What do you mean by break it in?

Some people like to condition the battery.

As far as I understand it, you basically run the battery down to 0% and charge it to 100% only for the first charge or two. No usage while charging and no charging until it gets drained. Supposedly it is supposed to help with efficiency.

Not entirely sure it is worth it personally. But then I've never managed to pull it off. Always end up killing the battery rapidly while I'm still in the middle of tweaking the things to be perfect. :D

Like how did you charge your phone when you 1st got it? Did you charge right off the bat or you used it till 0% then charged it fully to 100?

Oh. I just used it until it went dead charged it to 100 while it was off. For two battery cycles. That's what I've done with all my phones.

Yeah I've heard from some you're supposed to and some say it don't matter. I do it now out of habit and like to think it's doing something lol.

I stopped doing these "conditioning" tricks a few devices ago. Lithium ion has no memory effect. It doesn't do anything for the battery to do these things on this type of battery.

This is from a light use day and a half. The steep drop at the very beginning is from playing GTA 3 with full brightness for a while. Then I slept and woke up and used the phone lightly thoughout the next day wifi enabled. Good to know I don't have to worry about checking my battery level when I'm not even using the phone. This is the 1st 4G phone I've owned with an actual "standby" lol.
