Root BB V1 will probably be a wait now...

Hey all, I just wanted to say that I am EXTREMELY sorry for being non-existent and not able to provide an update as fast as I usually do. Working full time hours, being a full time student, having a girlfriend, and building ROMs do not go well together unfortunately. My grades are slipping pretty bad to be honest and it is getting towards the end of the semester. I have exams coming up as well as papers due which leaves no time for doing what I love (Bugless Beast). With that being said I have a question. Would you all rather wait to have V1.0 or would you like me to release a V0.9.5 that is essentially the same as V0.9 but ESE81?

I would personally wait, but now people are going to riot, lol. Too bad his school is slipping - I would wait because of that.
I bet I know what people will say about the ESE81...:rolleyes:
 
NOOOOOOO! jk... but i really want to know what great things v1.0 will bring. Guess we will have to wait.
 
Pete should definitely handle his business...If people aren't cool with that...the hell with them! I work 50 hours a week, I have a wife and 2 kids, and I'm a full time student...that is tough!
 
Let Pete know we can wait! The dude has provided a killer ROM with 0.9!!! Would we even want an ese81 based rom? With a slower frame rate GPU?????
 
You do what you have to do! I do want to say one thing, I got my Droid about 3 weeks ago and yours was the first ROM I installed and loved it, but I'm one of those people that need to try everything out and after every flash, I was back to BB in less than an hour! So work, catch up on school and take care of that girl, I'm sure people would rather wait than get something you weren't able to put your full effort into.

Yeah, Bugless Beast used to be my ROM of choice for the longest time (I can't pass up Cyanogen's ROM that's built from AOSP, though). Pete is a very cool guy and the community should let him do what he has to do; ROMs should be a passion, not a job. :)
 
Well it didn't melt off per-say, but it was one heck of a incident. Have you ever seen Samuel L Jackson in XXX? Yea, that is what he looks like now. Sort of a mix between Scarface and that.
 
Meh, don't want to re-register at AD, so if anyone talks to pete, the beer I just bought is for his girlfriend, for putting up with his 'hobbies' :D

(I support BB development and drunk girlfriends, in no particular order...)
 
Personally I'd just wait. Why should the ROM currently on my phone be of greater importance than his life lol? I'd rather wait a bit longer for version 1.0 and I hope he gets a handle on his grades and whatever else he needs to before he spends more time on it :D
