Root Beats audio + DSP Manager[CM9 & AOKP]

I've seen this, I never tried it because I came across it when all I had was my optimus M, which still doesn't have ICS. I'm gonna try this with my V :)

I'm using it on the latest AOKP build of Quattrimus, while the dsp managed still force closes sometimes, you can still hear a difference with the beats audio. (Then again, I did a very dirty flash lol)

Lol gonna try it on aokp also

Is this the same thing like SRS audio?? :D

I wouldn't know. This is my first time hearing of srs.

To put it simply, its Beats Audio, with an EQ, specifically for Android 4.0+.
And this has never been done before. Usually if you wanted Beats audio on the OV, you'd have to give up using an EQ. But now, you don't have to, you can have the superb clarity of Beats Audio, and you can further enhance your audio listening experience with Beats Audio integrated with DSP manager and MusicFX.

No I didn't. I don't really know how to use equalizers.

A quick rundown, and in simple words of how an EQ works..
Basically, on the far left(of the EQ) controls the low pitched sounds(Bass), the center controls mid pitched sounds(various combinations of drums, guitar, voice), the far right controls the high pitched sounds(same as center, but higher pitches of each).
I find keeping them all under +5 (varying in levels) makes the sound more crisp, and enjoyable.

It also seems AOKP builds tend to cause it to force close often(the DSP manager part at least) although you still are able to hear the default BEATS audio software.

I'm assuming that it is more comparable with CM9 builds, due to CM9 roms already having DSP manager.

Listing what ROM you are using can help for development of this mod, I will contact the dev and provide proper information (phone model, and ROM(build date, and full name would be helpful.) So he could attempt to fix any bugs.

I'm using Quattrimus build 7/3/12
