Root Beginner?

Hey all...

I just got a thunderbolt.... and really really want to get it rooted.

But I have never done it before.

A guy at work has it rooted with the BAM ROM on it, but he is wicked techy, and said it was a pain in the... for him. So it makes me nervous to do it.

Is there a guide, or anything that walks through literally step by step?'

It's definitely not as easy as some other phones are to root. If you don't know how to follow instructions to a T and aren't a person with common sense then I'd ran away as fast you can. That being said, I'm going to assume you're none of the above so here are some things you should read and get familiar with . i worked hard getting all those links

there are a couple videos there that take alot of the scarieness out of it the manual method,IMO

I just rooted my TB using my Macbook and I can assure you it is an easy process. Copy and paste. Entire procedure took about 30 minutes, not including reconfiguring my home screens. "Wicked" easy!
