Am presently using my ancient Plantronics (made for Palm) bluetooth, and it works, but it has its limitations. Any suggestions on what is most compatible with the epic4G?

I can say my Jawbone Icon Hero is working great..![]()

i've had good luck with the Discovery 975. A little more natural sounding than the Icon (which I also have). Pairs and connects well unlike my Voyager Pro which ends up not connecting once in a while, and I have to un-pair and re-pair. I think the sound quality (to others) is why I like the 975 over the Icon not to mention the little charging case which is great to keep in the work bag. On the Icon side, it does A2DP so I can listen to music and talk via BT when I'm out at lunch during the day or during breaks when using headphones isn't really convenient. Besides, I don't need sports talk or Stern in stereo.
The only problem with the Icon is it's so damn small and easy to lose. I have one in my car, somewhere (all black interior), and I can't find it. I know it's in there because it was connected to my phone for a few days after losing it, but even with the car silent, I couldn't hear a ring to help find it. Pain in the butt. So I picked up another. I have all three that I talked about. So just don't get an Icon that matches the interior of your car
It'd be nice if they had a finder signal for it being a blinking led or loud beep. Something you could activate from your phone.
I'm using a plantronics backbeat 935. It works great. I do have to re-pair now and then, but its not too bad.I've never had great BT across the board on any phone in the past 3-5 years. It is the farthest thing from a "standard" I've seen in a standard. And my Discovery 975 has always been solid connection wise in comparison to my Voyager Pro. Could be the ROM I'm running, who knows.
