Best Buy availability

I think it depends on your store and maybe who you talk to...I know i heard someone say that their best buy would definitely have the Note 2, and that he talked with a store manager about it... :confused:
 
Its been known for a while that both Best Buy and AT&T will be selling to walk ins on Nov 9 - this Friday.
 
Okay, I called the Best Buy I pre-ordered at and now they're saying that it's looking like 11/15, as supposed to the 11th. And apparently they're only showing the white being shipped to them. I'm not as worried about the color, since I'll just do an exchange at some point within my 45 Silver Beat Buy return/exchange window, but it'd still be nicer to know when they'll be getting their inventory.

Damn! i think i can only upgrade until the 14th due to the way our billing is set up -_-
EDIT: just called and they said sorry sir we dont have a definite date yet....
 
You all have to keep in mind that although Best Buy is a chain store they don't stay in sync with what each store has/gets as far as inventory.

It really doesn't matter how many different stores you call, they're all going to say something different based on THEIR store; not as a whole of Best Buy.

Also you have to keep in mind that 9/10 of the time they have NO idea what's on their trucks until the trucks have been unpacked.

YES...there is a way for them to check THEIR store database to see if they have a particular item BUT that database isn't distinct enough to tell them if it's on THIS truck or the NEXT truck.

Called again tonight and they stated that they're expecting them to be there on 11th also and are hoping that shipment comes in tonight (for the Sprint version).

Right now, they were only showing white, so my only question now is, I'm hoping that the manager can stick to his word that he'll be able to order me the grey, if they don't get any in.

Nontheless, looks like I might have my phone by Sunday...crossing my fingers.
 
My last hangup is going to revolve around the ability to get a price match on Black Friday. Now to my understanding they will not honor black Friday prices but hopefully they will let me return/rebuy.

Confirmed. Got my pre-order pickup email confirmation for pickup tomorrow. I just hope they got some grey ones in also. Gonna call this morning.
 
Okay, so looks like my local best buy that I pre-ordered at didn't get the grey in...yet. So, I'm calling around to other Best Buy's to double check if anyone got it in. If not, I'm going to go ahead and take my pre-order tomorrow and then I'll be swapping it to the grey whenever the manager can order me one or whenever one of the closer locations actually gets stock.

So, tomorrow I will definitley have my phone, no matter what! Worst case scenario, if the grey never gets stocked in store, I'll just stick with 2 white Note 2's (not bad, but I'd prefer having the 2 colors...just hope they don't decide to release a pebble blue in 2013, which would really suck since that would've been my preference).
 
Stop calling. Seems to be part of what keeps jinking you. Go in the store and be surprised cause they actually did get gray in. :p

Seems like it's for most/all of the best buys that seemingly aren't getting the grey right away. I have a feeling they'll have it, at least before the holidays, so I'll have 45 days from tomorrow (w/ Silver Premiere) to exchange for the grey, so that'll I'd think they'd have the grey somewhere by the then.

Worst case scenario, I have 2 white Note 2's, which isn't bad.
 
I don't see why they wouldn't . I have a facebook pal who works at Radio Shack and I am trying to get ahold of him to see if he knows if he has any in stock.

I'm still gonna try. I really appreciate your mentioning it though. Radio Shack didn't have it up online for the longest time.
